Freima is a collective of saint adventurers, ethereal ramblers, eyewitnesses of rhythm: artists, technicians and thinkers engaged in the praxis and aesthetics of change.

The Freima Labs digital record label aims to publish forward thinking Portuguese electronic music in an assortment of genres, establishing a sense of unity in diversity. We thus motivate our artists to remix and collaborate amongst themselves, generating cross-pollination paths between languages, and the desired coherence of the editorial project as a whole. Techno, House, Bass, Electronica… these are just words.

Released artists include both established and emerging artists such as Alex FX, Antippode, Citizen Kane, Cleymoore, Fulano47, Ludovic, Lukkas, Miguel Torga, Mind Safari, Mirror People, Naus, O Amante Negro, Pal+, Photonz, Ramboiage, Reverb, Trikk, Umbra or Voxels, amongst others.
Besides Freima Labs’ main releases, we regularly publish free tracks that you can download at our Soundcloud or Bandcamp pages as part of our Freima Free series.

One of the most loved and respected names in the Australian dance music industry, Kasey Taylor made his mark in his hometown of Melbourne before John Digweed scouted him in the mid-nineties on his first trip to Australia where Kasey was playing the warm up set for him. It was that warm up where he gained Digweed’s instant respect and shortly after he invited Kasey to play at his infamous Bedrock night in London. That was the catalyst for Taylor to take his sound to a global audience, leading to international exposure and a permanent move to Europe to satiate the demands of his worldwide bookings that followed.

Kasey is the creative power behind the highly revered Vapour Recordings, the 25-year old mainstay which was founded in 1997 and is over 160 releases deep and still going strong.

More recently Kasey has gone through a massive personal and creative resurgence. The recently rebranded Vapour Recordings is on a roll again with the label releasing regularly after a 2 year break due to the pandemic. The standard of the releases is and has always been what makes the label stand out from the rest, with names like Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Gai Barone, Stereo Underground, Jamie Stevens, Nick Warren, Dousk, James Monro, Mike Rish, GMJ, D-Nox & Beckers and many more high profile artists all appearing on the label. With an armoury of names like that, it’s easy to see why Vapour creates
excitement with the scene’s biggest players.

On a more recent production level, Kasey’s releases and remixes have appeared on labels such as Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Bedrock as well as his very own label Vapour Recordings. Kasey has a ton of releases and remixes in the pipeline as well as some exciting collaborations with some of the worlds finest producers as he continues his drive to making quality productions to raise the hands of his beloved loyal followers on dance floors all over the world.

Behind the decks, Kasey is a fan favourite at all the clubs and festivals in his hometown of Australia as well as on a global scale too. He’s played and supported alongside all the industry greats you can think of and is one of the very few that can captivate an audience with his combination of versatility, patience and experience which allows him to move through a variety of genres from deep house to techno with his perfect attention to detail and immaculate programming.

With his finger well and truly on the pulse, Kasey has an ear for a great tune and is always looking to the future, and that future is set for one of Australia’s most popular dance music artists and exports to continue his already well decorated career well into the future.

L.O.K.I. is a live-act for the dance floor, an electronic music project created by Pedro Freixo and Jorge Tchacha, both of whom have a history tied to electronic composition. 

At the start of 2008 they launched their first tracks and debuted to a Portuguese audience and have frequently played throughout Portugal ever since.

With it’s techno leaning style and a mojo such as that of the analogue gear that delivers it, the concert works as a whole consistent, uniform and surprising.

The concept of mutation is inherent to L.O.K.I., with the live-acts assuming various forms, for which the artists always prepare and embody a new and bold performance, always with the unique signature that characterizes their music.

L.O.K.I. é um projecto que já alcançou um excelente terreno, no seu culto.

The Johnwaynes journey started in 2005. The Portuguese duo, that is strongly connected to electronic music, is made of a diverse blend of styles, a mixture between acid house, full-on orchestra, disco funk, boogie. 
After a package of releases on labels like Brique Rouge, Bloop Recordings, Johnwaynes found their way to Compost Black Label. Massive EP ́s like „Muzzle“ feat Hubert Tubbs (Black Label 32), „The Seaside EP“ (Black Label 38) or „Libertango” (Black Label 47) opened doors to further releases on labels like Japanese Mule Musiq, Endless Flight, Groovement or Optimus Discos. Collaborations with lovely Siri Svegler, Yannah, Stee Downes and Lady Bird, helped the Portuguese duo to enrich their journeys of “colors, textures and sensations”. When they play, whether in live or live/dj, they translate everything that’s in their souls, heads and veins, into a vibrant, harmonious and coherent way. Their uplifting sets are a universe of possibilities with constantly exceeding style barriers and an assured catching energy.

The way Analodjica communicates is typically feminine. She dismisses the need for words, especially when choosing music during her energetic and seductive DJ sets. She instinctively knows what the audience is thinking, or what people’s next move will be. This “female intuition,” for many considered a true “Midas’ touch,” is contagious throughout her playlists.
So, how did it all start? It was already fifteen years ago! For Analodjica it was love that led her to the decks. She fell for a DJ and committed her first act of rebellion by jumping out of her bedroom window, to join him at an after-hours club.
It often feels that what has happened since has been a dream! In Portugal she has deejayed in the biggest and most respected nightspots – Lux, OpArt, Europa, Indústria, Gare, Ministerium, etc., and she as proven her mind-blowing talent in front of huge festival crowds as part of the celebrated female dj duo Heartbreakerz, in their unforgettable performances at Portugal's biggest music festivals like SW Festival, Rock in Rio Lisboa, Optimus Hype and Boom Festival.
On an international level, Paris came first. And what better place to mark what is sure to be the first of many forays into Europe and beyond than the beautiful “City of Lights?” After that she span at places like The End, AKA, The Egg in London, Salvador da Bahia and São Paulo in Brazil, São Tomé e Príncipe, Ibiza, Norway, Hungary, Switzerland and so long…
This girl shapes her influences to create her own unique form of techno, like a rollercoaster filled with twists and turns, highs and lows, the kind that moves muscles in your body that you didn’t even know reacted to music.

FREIMATIC is a Live Electronics Band (Fulano47 & Lukkas) based in Porto, Portugal. We just released an original track and a remix through Boxn Records (FR) and Catalytic (ES), respectively. We're also releasing our debut album "Click!" through our very own label Pide2.0 (PT).

Rita Zukt began her career as a DJ at age of 15 in Leiria , Portugal , and since than has traveled the country without stopping surprising.
With a musical style that encompasses all genres of House music, their sets stroll between Deep , Soulful and Progressive passing through Tech-House
Uses and abuses of talent, beauty, technique, knowledge and feeling every beat, every element of music is translating in their expressions, making the track vibrate constantly and imposing a frantic pace, with moments of beauty and joy creating atmospheres, environments and fantastic empathy with the public, resulting in long hours of energy and fun elusive and very difficult to qualify.
We are far from the days when girls were to be seen in other types of functions, times that forced brightness women to disappear so they could be heard and respected.
Today Rita Zukt is a DJ known in the circuit, especially for her technique and performance.
