The current music scene is great because of the places where music is made and the experiments that are repeated by each personality. For individual creators, it is much more valuable to have an environment where they can come into contact with a large number of personalities than to be spread.

In the distant Subert Humlin, Gory Rallagher, Sank Frinatra, and Dats Fomino Galaxies, Her Majesty's Royal Intergalactic Empire is under siege by the sinister Khazargonians and their elite squads of shock troopers- the Jearl Pamians and Goundsardenians. These elite officers are:  Admiral Krank of the SS Belgrade (Guitar, bass, beats, intergalactic espionage and assassination by exploding cigars); and Captain Mirth of the SS Zagreb- (Guitar, piano, synth, beats, and advanced thermal detonation). Unfortunately, despite bravely serving Her Majesty's Space Navy, Vice Commandant Dubois has been court martialed and convicted for conduct not befitting an officer and counterfeiting baseball cards, stripped of his command of the SS Budapest, and dishonorably discharged from Her Majesty's Space Navy, though certain recordings of his guitar, synth, bass, beats, and forward deployable laser blasters remain here memorialized for posterity. Let it be known that though he has sunk to the very depths of ignominy, we wish him well in his new venture, the Spandex Spanktroverse.

I've become addicted to drone. Again. I was the kid with his head on the piano, listening to the overtones die away, or pressing his ear to the steel hull of the ferry, enthralled by the sounds it created. I was the kid who formed wordless songs to accompany the sound of train wheels on a long journey, or hummed along with the fan on a hot day.

In the 60s I used to play my 45s on 16, or backwards, or by hand using razor blades as stylii.

I made cut-up tapes on a cheap cassette recorder in the 70s and experimented with reel-to-reel in the 80s.

I am not a musician. I am a scavenger of sounds. I use the most basic software to process those sounds, stretching and filtering until something emerges that makes a joyful noise. Or not...

After the death of a loved one, I found myself unable to play music... so I opened a small attic room deep in my unbalanced mind and played other types of instruments... it had to happen...

So here's a track, "ATTIC ROOM" (37 minutes), composed and produced, bringing together 10 very different and surprising tracks... I feel like I was in another dimension for a while, and I hope you enjoy it.

Me voici presque de retour...
Après le décès de l'un de mes proches, je me suis retrouvé dans l'incapacité de jouer de la musique... alors j'ai ouvert une petite chambre mansardée tout au fond de mon esprit en déséquilibre et j'ai joué sur d'autres types d'instruments... il fallait que cela se réalise...

It's difficult to categorize my music into just one genre. It draws influence from trip hop, breakbeat, instrumental and abstract hip hop, heavy rock, techno, minimal, sound art, contemporary, glitch, and more!

I admire many artists, and you might detect their influence in my work. Among the best are Daft Punk and Massive Attack, followed by 90s Ninja Tune artists like Amon Tobin, DJ Vadim, The Herbaliser, and Kid Koala. I've had the pleasure of seeing many of them live at the legendary Ilosaari Rock festivals. I also appreciate French hip hop, particularly Le Peuple de l'herbe. Other inspirations include The Prodigy, Portishead, DJ Krush, DJ Shadow, Gorillaz, Moby, Mono, Thievery Corporation, Future Sound of London, and more. My taste spans from acid jazz and funk to lo-fi and even punk or hard metal, depending on my mood.

I've been making music since the early 2000s, starting with MadTracker software (I am fine with the program name). A few years ago, I transitioned to music production with Ableton Live 10, and I'm currently using version 12. Some of my tracks are experimental, stemming from explorations over the past 20 years, while others are entirely new compositions. This experimentation is perhaps influenced by my background in research—I'm eager to explore new territories, including music.

Nature is my second passion. I tend to a micro-farm in the summer, raising sheep and chickens and restoring it to its traditional biohabitat. In the winter, I evade to the city and brood there, craving for the countryside's spring, summer, and autumn... or dreaming being in hot and sunny place by a sea or river...

I'm open to collaborations, akin to scientific endeavors where novel and exciting outcomes emerge from teamwork. Feel free to reach out!
