Israel is only the executioner, every nation which has armed that country in the past year is an accessory to that genocide, an accomplice, a facilitator.  We cannot talk about war crimes because when you target unarmed civilians, mostly women and children, we are talking about a massacre, like terrorists do, not a war. The people who orchestrated that massacre, in the US, the most duplicitous, followed by those of the UK, Germany, France, and probably a few lesser ones should be tried for crimes against humanity just as well as Netanyahu and his cabinet, because it has been going on for two years, generously reported by media of all kinds, so the enablers knew exactly how the arms were to be used, as a tool for revenge, domination, and humiliation of the Palestinian people.  The conflict has ceased to be about the defense of anything for months.

The parties responsible have made a mockery of decency, morals, fairness, proportion, or justice, not to mention empathy.  Of what little there was, these concepts will be a lot longer to come back than they were to be struck down.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access. It's difficult to categorize my music into just one genre. It draws influence from trip hop, breakbeat, instrumental and abstract hip hop, heavy rock, techno, minimal, sound art, contemporary, glitch, and more!

I admire many artists, and you might detect their influence in my work. Among the best are Daft Punk and Massive Attack, followed by 90s Ninja Tune artists like Amon Tobin, DJ Vadim, The Herbaliser, and Kid Koala. I've had the pleasure of seeing many of them live at the legendary Ilosaari Rock festivals. I also appreciate French hip hop, particularly Le Peuple de l'herbe. Other inspirations include The Prodigy, Portishead, DJ Krush, DJ Shadow, Gorillaz, Moby, Mono, Thievery Corporation, Future Sound of London, and more. My taste spans from acid jazz and funk to lo-fi and even punk or hard metal, depending on my mood.

I've been making music since the early 2000s, starting with MadTracker software (I am fine with the program name). A few years ago, I transitioned to music production with Ableton Live 10, and I'm currently using version 12. Some of my tracks are experimental, stemming from explorations over the past 20 years, while others are entirely new compositions. This experimentation is perhaps influenced by my background in research—I'm eager to explore new territories, including music.

Nature is my second passion. I tend to a micro-farm in the summer, raising sheep and chickens and restoring it to its traditional biohabitat. In the winter, I evade to the city and brood there, craving for the countryside's spring, summer, and autumn... or dreaming being in hot and sunny place by a sea or river...

I'm open to collaborations, akin to scientific endeavors where novel and exciting outcomes emerge from teamwork. Feel free to reach out!

Scratch Kelly constructs a synthesis of dark ambient, industrial and wave music. She creates a diverse sonic landscape, from brutal and unforgiving industrial sounds to dreamy dark wave territory marked by melodic synth bass so deep you could drown in it. Her music is designed to bring a sense of realisation, contemplation and healing to the darker places of the psyche.
First surfacing in 2018 with as part of the Hobart based duo Soundtractor, and moving onto solo music production in 2022 with a series of self-released EP's and albums. Her work is heavily influenced by darkwave and industrial electro, but her  inclusion of complex, often experimental rhythms and emotive melodies sets her apart from the rest of the dark electronic scene. She has received her greatest exposure so far on radio and at the Unconformity Festival.
