“Going down into the valley, everything fell into place. How the audio bounced around the trees, and the visitors almost blended into the nature around them. Playing this set in the morning, just as the sun was rising above the nearby mountains, and the inhabitants of the valley was waking up, was an absolute treat.”

FX-driven Jamaican soundsystems meeting the machines of techno with an abstract sound and loosely repetitive rhythms stucture, along with some usage of low end sonics - that's what dub techno is about. This music is a sonic experience far beyond the narrow pathways of techno, demonstrating that there is a universal code which connects repetitive patterns of organic sounds with club music. With a string of mind-altering atmospheres & warped basses and punchy beats to the fore, this mix is akin to an hallucinatory trip through the farthest reaches of psychedelic electronic music.

It's the first sunday of March and this is the 126th Ambient Sessions presented by Deep Electronics. These monthly released sessions brings you the best and the most diversity Ambient music can offer. This month Garda brings mixtape with a diversity of ambient music here at this channel. Experimental, bliss, etheral and etnic sounds are combined into his chapter for the Ambient Sessions.

About:
Garda is a solo ambient music project by Simas Gardauskas, based in Vilnius, Lithuania. Since 2018, when it originally started as a downtempo music project, Garda has been gradually shifting towards more ambient / dark ambient / drone influenced sounds which are also strongly accompanied with field recordings which are constantly being recorded while traveling the world. Currently music by Garda is mostly either self released or being released on some music labels such as Neotantra, Atlantea Records and so on.

Ambient Sessions # 126 - Garda

Dub techno is sometimes produced with vocals resulting in surprinsingly good results more than often. I ve selected 25 tracks which features vocalists (and some vocal samples) like Paul St-Hilaire and Benji. This is slowly meandering spacedub with deep, peaceful and dreamy lush ambient pads and dubby basslines. Though the old Rhythm & Sound influence is still clear—especially on the track Child was I—but what these producers are making truly feels fresh.

Following an unforgettable "Caravan of Love" journey through the Berber regions of Tunisia, organized by Ethnic Community, Sander found deep inspiration and joined forces with Vlada, who brought her own touch with a reinterpretation of traditional chants.

From the very first listen, Sorä felt compelled to remix the track, eager to infuse it with his own emotions and personal vision.
