Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore IV, the Queen Undyne ending, details an ending in which Toriel and the Ruins monsters are killed, but everyone else is left unharmed (other than Asgore of course). Undyne rules the Underground with an iron fist. Humans are to be treated as enemies, not friends.

Papyrus takes the role of Mettaton. As he told Frisk over the phone, his official duty is to “stand around and look cute.” So that’s exactly what he does! He is the Underground’s #1 model and celebrity (BY LAW), and he takes his job very seriously! When first encountering the new human, he models a strong a suit of armor…which ends up not being his most practical look. But hey, beauty is pain, right?

Sans sorta takes an original role, it's complicated. You first meet him at Grillby's (which is still around this time, thank the gods!) where he's drinking the pain away, and this replaces the BGM for Grillby's. He doesn't even notice the new human initially, and he's not much of a threat at all. Truly the life of the party.

Hello, Furtherfell (or should we say AFTERG.O.R.E) community! After reading a comment on our song "die hard.", we came to a realisation. The trajectory of this AU is all wrong!
(Note: Do not harass this commenter, they weren't insulting us. Their genuine, polite question has merely led us to a beautiful epiphany.)

Furtherfell isn't meant to be an expression of our creativity and love towards Fella's masterful AU! After all, we're not fans of how they wrote Asgore and therefore the entire AU must be hot steaming dookie.

So, starting with this absolutely masterful song (made by the great and perfect and very handsome Spudward who definitely did not write this message, no siree), we are changing our wicked ways. Focusing back on Slick Silver and DashingToadie's masterwork of AFTERGORE, and just making it edgier. 

Because that's exactly what it needed, more edge.

These good intentions spiral out of control, until the underground becomes a Totalitarian Dictatorship with the new King at the helm, arguably in a worse state than the previous rule. Humans are to be treated as enemies, to prevent another tragedy such as this.

Sans takes the role of Flowey in this branch. After refusing to sit on the Throne beside Papyrus, he has been cast out. His own brother is now the enemy of the people, and therefore his own enemy, and yet the people have cast Sans out as well. There is nowhere he can turn where he won't be loathed by someone, and this has caused him to just stop caring anymore. 
After stalking Hare throughout the Underground for the entirety of their journey, causing them grief and frustration at every turn, he finally sees his time to strike in the Last Corridor. His spite and vindictiveness seem to be at full force, and his self-loathing buried under smug pride at the violence he's about to commit.

He's cold, harsh, blunt and rude, and terrified of letting people get too close to him due to how he was previously scorned by Frisk. He's traumatised... But there's more to it than he's willing to discuss.

It says here FURTHERFELL is a SERIES of AUs, what are its variations?

FURTHERFELL has several variations to represent the different neutral outcomes which UNDERTALE (and therefore UNDERFELL) can have. We do not have all of the hypothetical variations possible out as branches, since that would take too much work, so we only have Incomplete Pacifist (Rethroned) King Mettaton (Drama! Romance! Bloodshed!), King Papyrus (Vive La Révolution), and.. That one doesn't exist. Also there's a self insert.

How do neutral endings work? Are you using the Trust, Betrayal, and Closure system? 
FURTHERFELL does follow the Canonfell system of neutral endings, which is explained here.
