At the helm of his beloved label, Marsman preaches the ‘Pinkman sound’ to congregations of devoted followers. Holding court for over ten years now, he celebrated a decade of Pinkman with a European tour covering all four corners of the continent. Marsman’s DJing can ride through twisted synths and thunderous drum patterns that are equally suited to dark, sweat-drenched basements and cavernous industrial warehouses. But dig beneath the dirt and there’s brightness to be found, with a glossy Italo sheen never far from Marsman’s selections.

Euphoric trance delights and proggy house tunes by Love On The Rocks member Alex Kassian. Carrying a firm nod to the early trance and dream house heydays, the Berlin local just clocked in two seriously good releases on Paramida’s label. Doing 90s-inspired, contemporary music the right way. We love to see it. With new material in the pipeline, waiting to be released on Pinchy & Friends, and a new record coming up on his Planet Sundae label, we caught up to hear the latest on developments.

We're glad to share a second episode of False Awakenings Loops with Umresh. Here you'll get an arthouse in the world of mixes. It could easily be the soundtrack to Safdie brothers movie or something similar. 

False Awakenings Loops show aims to create a series of audio narrative essays focused on topics like love, dreams, sleep, life, and death. Each track in the compilation serves as its own story or chapter, contributing to the overall narrative. Through the art of mixing, the music itself becomes a language, conveying complex themes and emotions.

The author of the show, Umresh is a multi-genre DJ originally from Siberia, who has primarily showcased her talents in Prague and Berlin. Her DJ sets and mixes feature music that has had a profound emotional and intellectual impact on her, both in the past and present.

Our first podcast of the year features an abundance of euphoria and summer reminiscence courtesy of DJ, Producer and Ritmo Fatale label boss @kendal3000. 'Set me Free' and 'Techno Positivo' were definitely some of the highlight tracks played during our last festival edition, and this podcast evokes those cherished flashbacks. Over the course of an hour, Kendal presents his signature synth-wave sounds while navigating through different eras, genres, and emotions. Enjoy the ride!

Serhii's sets are a journey from alternative disco and groovy acid house, through intense breakbeat and juicy italo to hot indie-dance. His selection has been appreciated at venues like Berlin's Paloma, Kyiv's ∄, as well as the Brave! and Black! Factory festivals.

Founder of Rotterdam's Pinkman records alongside its three offshoots Mindri, Broken Dreams and Charlois, he also ran a beloved record store at the beating heart of Rotterdam’s creative district, and co-founded Rotterdam's online radio Operator. What his work has in common is its ability to form a community out of a disparate group of outsiders with bravado. As a DJ, Marsman wants to make you dance with your head held high. His sound evokes a retro-futuristic euphoria. Nostalgic without being stuck in the past, it fosters the return of songs to the club; of sex, warmth and basslines to the dancefloor. Not confined to any one genre, expect to hear some of the best outsider sounds and infectious tracks from across wave, body, italo and well beyond. I
