On this one I patched my Buchla Easel K soberly, kept its sound pure neither thru any pedal, amp nor any FX and decided to focus on using its Multi-Dimensional Kinesthetic Controller... Caressing to play like a Theremin, Impacting for some bongo-like Contemporary percs, turning frequency/modulation/timbre/pitch of some notes upside down, and manipulating the « R » & « S » keys like joysticks to retranscribe the importance of the compositional gesture, to favor the live touch without repetitions, by impulse, in a very corporeal way.

"Voices In My Head: God Told Me To" is a reference to Larry Cohen’s cult movie dealing with unpredictable assaillants randomly killing people claiming that God told’em to… Those voices in my head could be uttered into your ears thanx to the SOMA Pipe: a voice / breath / mouth-controlled dynamic FX processor and synthesizer. This magical instrument turns your voice into a powerful FX / beat / lead / soundscape synthesizer and it offers unprecedented levels of vocal processing. 
Indeed allow me to emphasize that what you are listening to came out of my mouth ONLY and id done with no overdubs, one take improvisations.

Voices In My Head: God Told Me To

An improv done the first day I had been testing the excellent Extension to my Easel, designed and built by Constantin Papageorgiadis who besides being expert in EMS Synthi + Buchla mythical instruments is a super nice man and musician...
The VCS3 Card expands the Music Easel or 208 with original EMS Synthi A and VCS3 circuits : 
An oscillator that produces simultaneous square and triangle waveshapes with wide range and features useful modifications (synchronization, shape CV, hi/lo range) +  a noise generator with variable colour. On top Constantin has added a Random voltage generator modification module that equips many original EMS Synthi A, AKS and VCS3, unlike the 208's one, it's true random. 
I made good use of it, hopefully for your pleasure...
