My dear friends

I am happy to share my live recordings of one of the most magical night of my career so far.
I was invited to play in Oaxaca, Mexico together with Acid Pauli during 'Day of the dead' on 31st of oct 2015.
We played in some kind of old spanish church in the middle of the night. Because it was ‘the day of the death’ everybody was dressed like skelletons. They painted me as my dog Rivaldo, that passed away 3 months ago.
You can imagine playing in Mexico in a temple, on the day of the dead, with Acid Pauli, in front of Skelletons, while I was painted like my Rivaldo (and Martin had some kind of Jezus outfit) was pretty magical.

So I am excited to share with you the live recordings of this night.
I want to thank Mariana, ALKEMY and gem&bolt party w/ guest mezcal Amores and Meteoro to set up this night.
And all the people who came to show: you really made that temple come alive again!!

Alexander Schulz, 27 Jahre alt aufgewachsen in einer kleinen Industriestadt namens Cottbus entdeckte bereits im frühen Alter die Leidenschaft zur Elektronischen Musik. Einflüsse von Künstlern wie Carl Cox, Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Oliver Koletzki inspirierten ihn in die Kunst des Deejayings einzutauchen, woran er sehr schnell Gefallen fand. Angefangen unter dem Synonym „Alex Monoo“ sammelte er erste Erfahrungen in örtlichen Clubs und wurde schnell zum Resident des Funtasy Clubs in Cottbus. Heute ist er unumstritten unter dem Synonym „Alexander Schulz“ einer der beliebtesten Locals in der Lausitz und versteht es die Croud auf dem Floor abzuholen. Egal ob Opening, Primetime oder Aftershow, mit Gespür fürs Publikum und Location beweist er jedes Mal aufs Neue, dass er seine Tätigkeit lebt. 
Mit seiner musikalischen Vielfalt, einer eigenen Handschrift und dem Privileg, sich von den üblichen Sachzwängen freigeschwommen zu haben ist es schwer, seinen Style genauer zu definieren. Irgendwo zwischen Deephouse und Techno fühlt er sich heimisch. 
Mittlerweile arbeitet er an ersten eigenen Produktionen und spielt sein Lied in Clubs und auf Openairs über den Landkreis hinaus.

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series!

On this week's edition, we welcome @pandhora

Pandhora is the artistic and human symbiosis of two guitarists metamorphosed into producers who wish to bring sounds that occupied their thoughts back alive. Their music is an open sky laboratory where experimentation is the keyword. Syncopated rhythms and psychedelic melodies mix with powerful techno’s bass while strengthening by throbbing guitar riffs inspired by 70’s progressive and psychedelic music. Their productions claim to give to the audience an alternative to nowadays electronic dance music by introducing shape and lyricism to it. 

With Pandhora, we are travelling through time with a delighted elegance. They are always seeking for new sonorities and often invite other musicians to join them, whether they are vocalists or instrumentalists so they can create an original universe for each of their productions. Their latest EP «Divagations Cosmiques» released on french label Cepage Music is putting under the spotlights the jazzy voice of Lakmé, the former singer of Orme, a Neo-soul band from Marseille. Their new live act called «Deep Psychedelia» is a genuine condensed of all their experimentations.

We are happy to welcome them to our family, and we hope you enjoy this episode as much as we do!

Today we'd like to welcome our dear friend and huge talent Shepherd as new member of our monads music-gang. With „Caleidoscope Existence“ he's guiding the flock to new paradigms of simplicity and complexity. His style will catch our senses with his unique organic flow of driving synths and deep yet gentle beats.

The born Slovenian who's current home is Berlin, entrapped us the first time with his sound at one of the stunning Lucid gatherings some years ago. He's one of the brilliant co-creators of this revolutionary movement, which empowers the urban kids to free themselves and to live by their fullest potential - through music, dance, community & natural high vibes.  A non-dogmatic and colorful space is getting created where we can show ourselves as who we are and share beautiful experiences with another.

Shepherd is an artist who's sets are carefully curated voyages of subtle emotion, often culminating in peaks that set his audiences free. He has a knack for capturing the vibe on a dance floor and skillfully leading the crowd to get those bodies moving and hearts swelling. He has played at countless events and festivals - always with a keen feeling for the energy of the moment on any dance floor. He’s a blooming member of Circles & Stones, founded by the amazing Sarah Kreis & Caleesi, which provides him a great source of musical inspiration and support as well as a strong bond of friendship.

Our dear friend and amazing artist Radka Tiarksova is providing us another time a beautiful piece of visionary art of Radka Soulart for our beloved cover art-podcast-ensemble. We're more than thankful and happy to have this special collaboration and to have the possibility to share with all of you her unique art which is as lively, colorful & profound as the life we call reality.
The clear structure of „Caleidoscope Existence“ together with the complexity and simplicity in one, mirrors for us perfectly the experience of Shepherds musical script - please convince yourself!
