This set was created to sacrifice one's ego. It was designed to be like a deep-breathing meditation, alternating the breath-in and breath-out motion along the tracks. The only thing that mediates these ups and downs are the tribal percussions which are a common theme in this set. I invite you to meditate and give yourself completely to this psychedelic trance. Don't be afraid to let go of your ego. Embrace the darkness to reach the light.

Esse set foi criado para sacrificar o ego. Ele foi projetado para ser como uma meditação de respiração profunda, alternando o movimento de inspiração e expiração ao longo das tracks. A única coisa que medeia esses altos e baixos são as percussões tribais, que são um tema comum nesse set. Eu o convido a meditar e a se entregar completamente a esse transe psicodélico. Não tenha medo de abrir mão de seu ego. Abrace a escuridão para alcançar a luz.

Yoav Levy, better known as KINAI, is a 29-year-old producer from Ginot Shomeron, Israel. For over six years, he has been crafting high-energy, nighttime psychedelic music. As the founder of Nebula, a series of open-air nature parties, and Kaplika Records, a label dedicated to promoting fast-paced, boundary-pushing nighttime psytrance, KINAI has made it his mission to spotlight Israeli talent on the global stage.

This set is part of Shaman Booking's ongoing initiative to highlight and promote Israeli creators, introducing their unique sounds to the international psytrance community. KINAI draws inspiration from legendary artists such as Oroboro, Ott, and Pink Floyd, skillfully blending classic psychedelic influences with cutting-edge production techniques. This set embodies his artistic vision—an immersive, electrifying journey into the depths of nighttime psytrance.

Now based in Berlin, Germany, Sentient Number Six is the darkpsy project of Matthew Martinez, who was born in Virginia, USA in 1992.

Heralding a fearsome coalescence of all things dark and psychedelic, his production style is characterized by deep, ominous basslines, immersive, layered atmospheres, and a sinister palette of organic and synthetic leads.

From eerie, textural forest, to grinding, industrial-edged darkpsy, Sentient Number Six's sound is as identifiable and exciting as it is unique. Bringing his wide and diverse influences to life with his sound design and production prowess, he crafts sonic journeys that blur the line between the natural and the mechanical, leading audiences into the furthest reaches of the psychedelic plane.

"This mix has a solid mix of old and new music, including both my own productions and collaborations with other producers. There are quite a few tracks that are finished but unreleased, as well as a few work-in-progress tracks that I just wanted to test out in the context of a full set. Normally when I play at parties, I like to play DJ sets that showcase a blend of my own music and collabs, as well as tracks from other artists and friends that I'm enjoying at the moment. But for this podcast mix, I decided to do more of a production showcase and only play my own music. A huge thank you and hugs to all the crew at Gaggalacka, as well as all of the artists I've collaborated with, and I hope you enjoy the mix!" - Matthew

"Radio Gagga Podcast" Vol. 54 by Sentient Number Six

Francesca a.k.a Psykia, is an eclectic DJ and Producer from the underground music scene, her first contact with music was at the age of six when she started learning violin.

She studied classical music throughout her adolescence but at the same time was introduced to electronic music, thanks to her brother DJ Sword, a great collector of trance and techno vinyls from their very beginnings.
Initially she was intrigued by ambient, electro,techno and trip hop sonorities, later she discovered the psychedelic trance sound and became involved in the psychedelic culture, she wanted to go deeper into it and went to study Electronic Music Production at Rome’s “University of Music” and left 2 years later with a Diploma.

In 2006 she earned a study grant and went to Goa to write an anthropological research on the Goa trance movement for the University La Sapienza in Rome, after writing a brilliant thesys she then published a book whose title is “Trancefloor: an Ethnographic Research on the Soundscapes of Dancing Souls.”

After spending few months in Goa later in 2008, she had the chance to play her first set on the beautiful location of Anjuna Beach, that's when she began her journey as DJ exploring all the nuances of forest/dark/psytrance but also progressive, techno and chillout.

Psykia has been djing around the world for many years now, she has also started making her own sounds lately and realeased tracks for Lycantrop Records and Forestdelic Records.

She is currently based in London but she never stops travelling all over the world and playing at major parties and festivals alongside the biggest names on the international psy-trance scene; she played at massive events in Uk, also many gigs in India and Spain  where she was based for a while and where now she goes back to play almost every year, she has been playing almost everywhere in Europe, she also worked as Stage Manager at Wao Festival and Black Moon Festival, in 2014 she joined Vantara Vichitra Records(India), in Feb. 2015 she went on a India tour, in March 2015 she joined Milega Records (Japan) and in 2016 she went again on a India tour supported by her 2 indian labels Vantara Vichitra and Temple Twister.

Now she is back in Europe getting ready for the summer season and she just joined Banyan Record, one of the best forest labels in Europe ..
