vivo lento delivers his second contribution to the mix series and once again impressively proves his richness of facets. with a psychedelic space rock mix he creates a special atmosphere that moves between expectant tension and happy cheerfulness without seeming aimless. a nostalgic mix that expands the sound spectrum of the kfpnyx podcast series and will surely accompany us through the summer.

A while back I had the pleasure to play at the @zfk_hb floor at the old Kaffee Hag building in Bremen during the zfk x delusion records party. Beside the fact that everyone involved was super welcoming and nice, I also had a sweet night with a fat soundsystem and lovely and caring ravers, crew members and acts. Can’t wait to see what this place will become...

Ending on a very high note, VK Resident Manta closed the Dune Stage at our beloved Kiek Beyond Festival with this legendary set. Couldn't have wished for anything else. Happy to have it recreated for our VisionsCast series to enjoy some flashbacks at home. Emotional moments for everyone who has been there until the end, having memories of the whole Festival Crew on stage during "Gratitude Practice" by DJ Gigola. Opening with an edit of "Deixa a Gira Girar", moving into the iconic Terrence Dixon Remix of Efdemin's "America", Manta tells a story with a lot of different facets. While in the first half of the set Manta builds momentum by drawing inspiration from cultural and political connections, in the second half she delivers the sound you'd expect from Manta if you've heard her play before. Melodic, groovy, deep, acid infused synth lines, spacey pads and breaks. 

Chilean Italian DJ Manta is one of the founding members of Visionskultur and we're incredibly lucky and grateful to have her on board as a human being and of course, as a DJ and creative mind.

Ah well, a week behind schedule but we have a wee treat for this contribution to the podcast series.. This week we have dancefloor marstro, ‘Spiceytechs’ head honcho and long time friend of ours here at Repercussion, Ryksee, with a mix combusted of ‘trance licked house’. Ryans back catalog of gigs, functions and dance parties is one of most formidable. From cocktail bars to boujee boat parties all the way to ferocious warehouse raves that lead to the early morning light, its easily shown that time and experience is what upholds a great DJ and Ryskee embodies that through and through. The Kiwi import now with dense roots in Noosa, Queensland is steady in his work with his dance series ‘Spiceytech’ which continues to open spaces for liberation and creativity for the community and beyond..
