Hailing from Scotland, Goz has been DJ’ing for over 25 years and in that time has embraced a number of genres from house, hip hop and soul to disco and funk. In the early 1990s he was introduced to the art of mixing vinyl records and from that point forwards, Goz immersed himself in the art of beat matching and building sets - crafting his unique style throughout the 1990s where he would play local parties and get-togethers and, of course  - the all-important pre and post-night out shenanigans.  

After taking a break from DJ’ing in the early 2000s, Goz picked up the reins once again in 2014 and got back to doing what he loves most. Goz has always had an exceptionally diverse taste in music, although he naturally gravitated towards disco, soul, funk and hip-hop genres. 

Goz’s passion for music shines through in his sets, which are carefully curated and crafted to take you on a journey that always leaves you craving more. As one of the most renowned specialists in slow-mo and laid back grooves, when Goz decides to drop down the gears he creates a ‘soundscape’ experience few DJs on the scene can achieve. Similarly, when the disco juices are flowing, and the BPM is cranked up it’s a roller coaster ride and swirling haze of funky basslines, heavenly string arrangements, Afro beats and soulful smokiness. 

As host / show runner of the hugely successful Spin City which airs on New York’s number one House Music Station, www.myhouseradio.fm for a number of years now, Goz has built an extensive and strong follower base who regularly tune in to the two hour show which airs every Sunday at 7pm GMT (2pm NYC). The format of Spin City is a certified winner - with Goz normally presenting the first hour of the show followed by a special guest mix each week. On occasion, Goz will take the whole two hours to treat listeners to prime selections of new, old and classic tracks.  Some of the biggest names on the disco and nu-disco scene have appeared on the show, which has also secured talents such as John Le Visiteur, IMFROMULL, DJ Wahine and Queen & Disco for bi-monthly and quarterly residency spots. Goz also has a keen eye for up-and-coming DJs and producers - spotting undiscovered talent early and giving them a platform to showcase their skills.

During the summer of 2019, Goz teamed up with a group of like-minded DJs and producers to form a new promotion - Black Light Disco. The first Black Light Disco event in June 2019 was an enormous success and has gone on to land its own radio show which also airs on MyHouse Radio FM every Monday from 7pm - 9pm GMT (2pm - 4pm NYC). Since the show started in January 2020, its reputation has grown considerably and BLD now attracts some of the biggest names on the disco and nu-disco scene for guest spots. In May 2020, Black Light Disco formed a partnership with the excellent Samosa Records and Daje Funk Records to present a monthly residency on the MyHouse Radio platform, with label head honchos Les Inferno and De Gama taking over the show for the whole two hours. Airing on the second Monday of each month, The Samosa Funk show is already taking the disco world by storm -the partnership with BLD really taking things to the next level for the promotion. Going forward, Black Light Disco has a number of live events planned, so watch this space for the most up-to-date news on where one of Black Light Disco’s now famous nights will drop next!

Avant tout une histoire de potes, BPM est né en 2013 lorsque 3 DJs diggent un max de pépites sur SoundCloud. Ils se retrouvent avec une grande collection et décident de partager leur passion. La méthode est simple : une pépite par jour diffusée sur les réseaux sociaux et directement rangée dans des playlists à déguster selon son mood.

C'est aussi un collectif de 6 DJs réunis par l’amour du Groove : frangi., déʞalé, Pamplemousse Rose, Groove Garden, Vibes4YourSoul et Oldchap. Le crew enchaîne des résidences sur la capitale ainsi qu'aux quatre coins de la France et montent un maximum de plateaux Disco House avec d’autres collectifs.

Page SoundCloud référente, BPM partage ses pépites et les productions de son crew mais aussi des guests mixtapes et des Premières pour mettre en visibilité ses artistes préférés.

AOR Disco was started in 2009 with a mission to rediscover the lost golden age of Adult Orientated Rock. From the beardy acoustic era of late 1960s Laurel Canyon to the white-suited Yacht Rock yuppies of the early 1980s, AOR Disco seeks out the best in vintage Californian drive-time hits, soft-rock disco, psychedelic funk, and the kind of obscure album tracks you might find at the back of your dad's record collection.

AOR is back and you need never say sorry for liking this music ever again.

Rook Records is Hackney Wick record shop specialising in 2nd hand imports. The shop launched in 2016 initially online, and in 2023 has opened its doors up to the public for the first time. Expect to find jazz, soul, disco, house, rock, reggae and hip hop, with a huge range of US and Japanese imports.

In 2018 we launched Rook Radio, which is a brand new channel for filmed sets from DJs around the world. The channel is strictly DJ focussed, with artists being encouraged to be totally free in their music selection. The result is a collection of mixes in a wide range of genres, joining the dots between world music and dance.

Mon Che began his psychedelic journey in South Africa back in 1996, coming from a guitar and bass background he got interested in Psy-trance when he attended an outdoor music festival at the legendary Rustlers Valley. 

Loving all music with groove and energy it seemed like a natural progression for him to incorporate Electronica and Extended Range Guitars. 

Having Dj'd and produced Psy Trance under the name of Module for nearly 20 years he felt a strong urge to get back to an organic music production style. 

His music incorporates 5 String Bass and 7 String Baritone Guitar infused with Electro Landscapes ,Searing Synth Sounds and a love for Sci-Fi. 

Mon Che is a true fusion of analog meets digital and tells a story of man and machine working in combination to produce a sonic emotive journey to the stars and beyond.
