Ani Kcam is a DJ and producer based between Brighton and London who attempts to solicit movement and rapture whilst refusing to conform to strict genre-centric constraints. 

Nowhereness ||| Nowhereness is a regular radio show hosted by Ani Kcam and UKAEA (with occasional guests), broadcast monthly on Threads Radio. It is an expression of underground dance music that is global in influence, that suggests ideas of ritual, ceremony and cultural synergy, whilst recognising the original rave spirit that is fundamental to everything dance music has now become.

Dispatches ||| The Dispatches radio series has no regular home, instead broadcasting on a different radio station from a different global location each time. The series aims to recognise the increasingly global mobilisation of dance music over its history, and often acknowledges the location of the station with a responsive track list.

Formed in 2002 with a deliberate misspelling of the Kurosawa film, Rashamon favours skewed melodic, glitched pop with hip hop and post rock leanings.  Has been an on/off act at Spirit of Gravity in Brighton, once got played on Radio 1, had a nice review in the wire and has some proper releases on all manner of streaming services. Since combining breakbeats, field recordings of Brighton and the 19th century words of Lord Byron on “Music On The Water” in May 2021, Alien Alarms have released music on the Patchworks, Stresshead and Spirit Of Gravity labels, played live across the UK, received airplay on Codesouth.FM, Resonance Extra, Radio Reverb, BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio 6 Music.
