I am an author, acupuncturist, and seeker of Enlightenment. Ever since a powerful Satori experience two weeks before my 32nd birthday, I have devoted myself to exploring the greater mechanism behind life as we understand it. 

Through exhaustive study of Buddhism, Taoism, Advaita Vedanta, psychology, psychedelics, Chinese medicine, Qigong, and meditation, I have begun to glean some profound clues to the Truth of our experience. I am not an expert by any stretch and I cannot say that what I have learned is unassailable, or that it is the only Way. But I cannot unsee what I have seen – nor can I forget it.

My personal struggles with substance abuse, depression, and the very real demons of doubt, shame, and self-loathing have tempered me and led me, kicking and screaming, to the feet of compassion, forgiveness, and Love. 

I have endured, with greater intimacy than I can convey, the Dark Night of the Soul, and I’m here to tell you that what is revealed in those first, fragile rays of the dawn is beautiful beyond measure. How can I know this for certain? I cnn’t.

But I am coming to believe.
