"To Be Quiet" is the second single extract of Of Norway's upcoming mini-album "Smeigedag".

"Smeigedag" immerses listeners in the bittersweet essence of the last days of summer, where the melancholy of the season intertwines with a sense of impending darkness known to all Scandinavians. Featuring six carefully crafted tracks, the mini-album beautifully encapsulates the range of emotions experienced during this transitional period, making it the perfect companion for the final open-air events of the season.

"Smeigedag" serves as a poignant reminder that every ending brings new beginnings, capturing the essence of both farewell and anticipation. The album's title, a word derived from Norwegian folklore, reflects this sentiment perfectly, as it represents a day of intimacy and closeness before the darkness takes over. Revered UK house producer Jimpster steps up to remix an Andrea Ljekaj track which is taken from Ljekaj's recent Croatia, Get Physical! EP.

Andrea Ljekaj has long been Get Physical Music's man on the ground in Croatia - a party promoter, DJ and producer who knows the scene inside out and showcases the best of it on various compilations for this label. His latest outing featured the original of 'Wonders Never Cease' feat. Je Veux which is included here. It's a compelling mix of broken beats and bass-heavy deep house with great swing and alluring female vocals.

Jimspter is one of the UK's most venerated house artists with a career that spans multiple decades. He is the man behind the respected Freerange label and someone who has always brought fresh invention to deep house. His musical take on the genre is rich and emotive and he has always been an in-demand remixer.

His first fantastic remix rolls on deep, warm drums and allows the full vocal to unfurl up top with an irresistibly pained sense of soul next to the lithe keys and heart-melting chords. He also provides a dub that uses the vocal more sparingly but to just as great an effect.

This is an intimate house package for cosy dance floors and special moments.

At the heart of the Awesome Soundwave project is a dedication to live and innovative music and their latest body of work lives up to that perfectly. 

Master of his craft Stimming showcases an all hardware LP that goes by the name of - “Elderberry”. Experience distinct atmospheres from beginning to end as Stimming steers you on a journey of ethereal techno, melding genres as he moves blissfully between the ten tracks. The beautiful long play will land on the 29th of September ready to be added to your collection. 

For this enriched album Stimming decided to take a new approach to his production utilising hardware only embracing the challenges that it comes with but simultaneously the never ending outcomes as a musician. When stepping out of the box amazing things happen and Stimming tries to elevate this inspiration and funnel that into the “Elderberry” exploration, using machines such as blackbox/bluebox, intech controller, DOCtron IMC and various other gera throughout the tracks. Minimal editing was made on a computer at the end to condense arrangements. 

Musically Stimming never shies away from depth and emotion, and manages to capture moments with each and every movement, something that can be found here in the likes of “Morgentau” and “Golden Tree”, the charming drive of tracks such as “The Seeker” or the raw and organic energy of “People Do” and “She Hates That Chord”. There is a sense of purity throughout.  

A match made in heaven as Awesome Soundwave and Stimming meet, both aspiring to deliver timeless music and fresh and original ways and “Elderberry” is just that, embodying the ethos of both the label and artist. A first time collaboration, but hopefully not the last! 

“My goal was to chase the energy that appears when playing around with hardware only, in contrast to 'designing' a track in the box, which, after so many years, I found myself to be tired of, the immediacy and playfulness from a hardware-only techno livejam is a different type of energy. It's not as precise and on-point like the "riser, noise and drop" mechanics but has more of a long-term, evolving energy that is aimed at listeners and dancers that understand techno more as a journey instead of a "closely guided freak out" - Stimming

A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. The label has become a globally recognised symbol of quality, renowned for its always varied and vital house output. Forming the backbone of the label's vast catalogue is the influential in-house DJ mix series, Body Language. It is a snapshot of exactly where the underground is at and has been assembled by tastemakers such as Azari & III, Catz ‘N Dogz, Dixon, DJ Hell, Francesco Tristano, Nôze and of course label-founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y..

Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums. The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house. Along the way, Get Physical´s core artists have been joined by red hot new talents including Alinka, Thandi Draai, PAUZA, Yulia Niko, Birds Of Mind, CIOZ and Monkey Safari. There have also been carefully considered forays into thriving house music scenes in Africa, Brazil, Cuba, Croatia and India: dedicated compilations and EPs have highlighted those region's most exciting new talents and given them a global platform. 

The name says it all: Get Physical tracks could hardly be more moving and corporeal. It was true in 2002, and it will be true in 2025 and beyond.
