Burgeoning DJ and producer Bontan makes his debut on the notorious Hot Creations label. Hotly anticipated, the release features two original cuts to fuel his rising profile.

UK based Bontan has been using title track The First Time as his secret weapon for the last six months and is now finally unleashing it. “I’ve been testing it and tweaking it play by play!’ he explains. ‘The vocal compliments the rolling bass melody and gives it a darker edge”. This a producer who fully understands how to create a track for a heaving dancefloor. Personal Question is the second cut and flips the mood entirely with a twisted vocal entwined in beeps and percussion, whilst stirring the sentiments of lost early hours.

A firm favourite in the underground scene, he has built a solid reputation with releases on Circus Recordings, 20/20 Vision, and Cajual among others.

Paris Green is Mitchel Kelly and Thijs Bastiaans, an Amsterdam based duo who have already made big waves with their first critically acclaimed single ‘You Got To Try’ made famous in the underground by Rebellion / Crosstown Rebels  and consistent BBC Radio1 support. Now they lend their sound to one of our mainstays, Hot Since 82. The boys deliver an electrifying remix of Hot Since 82’s 2012 breakout hit ‘Like You’. Paris Green manage to keep the tracks spirit alive after all these years, giving the percussion a jazzy touch and pumping up the bassline before an acid bath. The bubbly result gives enough power to steam the dancefloor into a fury, no matter when or where. Of course the original is on board as well. It’s huge bassline and itchy percussion is still bringing the heat after half a decade, ‘Like You’ has aged very well.

With May almost coming to an end, things have been hectic at elrow Music HQ. Not just Ibiza season is about to kick off (in fact, the opening is tomorrow, May 26th) in our favorite club of the island, Amnesia, but also there are several things that will forever change the way you see elrow Music in the future. Don't be afraid, we're just changing our images and logo, with a refreshed new image that we really hope you, our dear crowd, like.

To celebrate this overhauling, we have asked some of our dearest friends to remix our biggest tracks to date, creating this 'elrow Remixed vol. 1' series. In this delivery you'll be able to find three of our biggest tracks remixed by some of the hottest artists of the genre. These are Max Chapman's 'Body Jack' - our first #1 track in Beatport's general chart, supported by even bigger names as Carl Cox -, CAAL & Baum's 'Downtown Beat' - a major surprise for us, supported by artists ranging from Marco Carola to Dennis Ferrer -, and Ki Kreighton and Makanan's 'Trivial' - that not only blew Beatport, but also is the most streamed track of the label in Spotify -. For the occasion, we've chosen Franky Rizardo, Nathan Barato and Miguel Bastida to remix each of the tracks respectively, creating an unique blend of monstrous tech-house energy, each with a character of its own, creating an unique VA remix series, to be released next May 25th. Expect a second delivery, next July.

Summer is coming to an end but elrow music doesn’t stop its activity. About to finish another frantic season in Ibiza, we’re proud to present another big debut single, remixed by a high rolling artist. The US-born, UK-based artist delivers this ‘History of Groove’, consisting in one original track and its remix, by the one and only Technasia. ‘History Of Groove (Original Mix)’ is a carnivalesque, well structured, steady and soulful track, with many elements aligning together nicely to create this transient yet great track for any moment on the floor. Its wooden percussion, claps and distant vocals make this one a truly outstanding creation, that surely will make the rounds in dancefloors all over the world. Then, we have Technasia’s remix, a more techier affair with a vibe of its own, where Charles Siegling turns the original into a complete different beast, more dancefloor oriented and ready to tear up some dancing shoes. A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene.
