‘MelodicLab’ is the radioshow of Sounom & Sagou on DNARADIOFM.com [Argentina], live on air every second Tuesday of the month 9PM, Argentina Time.

Sounom & Sagou, two Dutch based producers, have a big love for melodic techno and progressive house and they are always trying to explore new horizons. 

For the last couple of years they were monthly residents at the HeavensGate Deep Show on www.di.fm in which they played a one-hour-mix themselves accompanied by a guest mix by dj's like Guy J, Paul Hazendonk, Ingo Vogelmann, Steve Parry, Estroe and Hernan Cattaneo.

Releases were on Manual Music, MNL, Cinematique, Baroque, Kamarad Meyer Musik, Variety Music, White Label Recordings and many more, and they were supported by Hernan Cattaneo, Miss Melera, Eelke Kleijn, Jamie Stevens, Gai Barone and others.
They have worked together with artists like Tim Engelhardt, Kamilo Sanclemente, Boss Axis, Mr.MNT, Dustin Nantais, Danny Lloyd, East Cafe, Mario Hammer, Juliane Wolf and Julian Thomas.

With this new show they are taking another step in sharing their music to a growning audience, so tune in and enjoy!

One of Australias most talented, inspired and sought after artists, Jamie Stevens, makes a welcome and long overdue return to Bedrock with The Beneficiary EP. Having first been introduced back in 2008 via his exceptional remix of John Digweeds Warung Beach (BEDPPF10), Jamie also contributed the standout Indigo to Bedrock 14 (BED14CD), and collaborated with John Digweed & Nick Muir to create Prism for their 2013 Versus (BEDVS01CD) project. 

Now, hes back and in the words of Mr Digweed: Jamie Stevens is on fire right now. As an enticing opener, The Beneficiary is hard to beat. Its carefully structured layers of hypnotic percussive beauty are topped with subtle melodic swirls, as it glides effortlessly onwards in a masterclass of intricate excellence. 

In perfect contrast, A Bird In The Hand is a hissing, whirling dervish of pent-up, wickedly delicious excitement a twisting, dipping and soaring fireball of joyous energy, that grows and mutates and expands inexorably from start to finish. 

Essentially, what joins both of these unique compositions at the hip is an attention to detail that marks Jamie Stevens out as an exceptional producer at the top of his game. Two decades of stunning original productions, most recently for the likes of All Day I Dream, Replug, Balance Music and microCastle, alongside a mindboggling array of remix outings, gives an insight into the heart and soul of Jamie Stevens. Each masterpiece (and his unique DJ sets) journeys into the human psyche in a way that only a small number of composers and DJs within the electronic music realm can. Jamies unrelenting diligence, consistency, quality and refreshingly humble nature, are all key attributes that will continue to see him grow as a major contributor, and role model, to the house and techno community on a global scale far into the future.

Born at the end of the 70's in the Aragonian capital, Javier Orduña grew closely linked to the city's first punk scene and entered into contact with the sound of legendary bands as Bad Brains, Dead Kennedys or Joy Division. It was already in the 80´s when Orduña saw for the first time genres as the acid house or the techno from Detroit which would mark the rest of his life for good.

In 2000, Orduña decided to pack and move to Barcelona, where he soon connected with the emerging electronic music scene, getting his first residency at the legendary Moog club where he shared the Dj booth with the elite of the global techno. After having travelled around half of the world, Javier focused all his effort on what today is his natural environment: the musical production. 

In the last years, he has become one of the most prolific and respected producers in Spain, making his music a personal and unique language combining the soul of Detroit with the complexity of the jazz, and resulting into a sound brimming with soul and groove. This has captured the attention of the most prestigious record labels of the electronic scene, turning him into a talismanic producer for many front-line DJs. 

Artists such as Guy Guerber, Hot since 82, Guy J or Chaim -among others- have played his tracks in several well known festivals and clubs. Some of his best works have been published by great labels like VISIONQUEST (Shaun Reeves, Ryan Crosson and Lee Curtiss' label), VIVA MUSIC (run by Steve Lawler), and also MODA BLACK, where he shared works with his partner and brother Upercent. 

His latest additions have been JEUDI RECORDS (captained by Doctor Dru, Davide and Take It Easy), CULPRIT the most important record label in Los Angeles, with a great worldwide impact also the English label CHAPTER 24 which has recently acquired a constant presence, and finally EXPLOITED GHETTO one of the most influential labels at the moment. Javier also owns his own label, NIGHTCOLOURS, where renowned artists and new promises are bringing to life an elegant and personal label, having already earned respect and consideration among its peers in the current electronic scene.

Tribal house music talent PALMFooD is next up on Get Physical with a pair of perfectly intoxicating new tracks.

PALMFooD is a Connected, MoBlack and Still Vor Talent artist who has studied drums and percussion all his life. After a time living in Vienna training in Sound Engineering, he has gone on to establish himself as a DJ on the European circuit, with gigs at the likes of Watergate and plenty of fresh productions with exquisite synths, strong basslines and ethnic elements coming thick and fast.

This latest offering kicks off with 'Bogogan', which is utterly enchanting from the off with dreamy pads and soft, delicate chords. The drums are warm and deep and together they make for an immersive musical trip.

Next up is the excellent 'Hamaya Dream', a more cosmically angled tune with sprinkles of starry keys up top and hypnotic leads that take you late into the night. Once again the drums are rubbery and humid and show PALMFooD's mastery of atmosphere.

These are two more tasteful tunes from the intriguing PALMFooD.
