It's been a while since we released a GD live set and it's time for something handmade and organic. We present an exclusive Live Session by Timo Veranta and Getting Deeper's Ich Hab Bock show host Henheimer, who created this deep tech mix with only their latest releases. All tracks were produced with a lot of heart and soul for the 2020 open air and festival season, which unfortunately did not take place due to the pandemic.

Getting Deeper Live Sessions #5 with Timo Veranta & Henheimer

@christianvoldstad acquired his love of electronic while growing up in the UK. It wasn’t until he moved to New York, however, that he would attend his first underground party and find the sound that would capture him and inspire him to step behind the decks himself. Since then, Christian has become a staple of the underground scene, a party enthusiast, and an avid techno tourist.
After some time as a free agent, Christian’s sophisticated taste in music earned him a residency for Bespoke Musik where he has entranced audiences with thoughtful, layered DJ sets. His music blends a focus on the low-end frequencies with a melodic, sometimes melancholic touch. The end result is just as suited to a nightclub dancefloor as a desert sunset, with enough versatility for everything in between.
Some of his notable bookings include Gazgolder and Leveldva in Moscow, Café D’ Anvers in Antwerp, Sisyphos in Berlin, Output and Cityfox in Brooklyn, Do Not Sit on the Furniture and The Electric Pickle in Miami, and Robot Heart and the 747 at Burning Man. With the upcoming creation of Bespoke Musik’s record label in early 2021, expect to hear Christian’s first original productions, as well as a preview of his upcoming music project.

This set was recorded on a night that felt like one of the best musical experiences in my life.. Back to back with SanDro, my Croatian soulmate ever since we met during a set of Hernan Cattaneo in Antwerp.  SanDro took us to this stunning location somewhere lost in the Adriatic sea in Croatia. We set up our gear (after carrying it all ourselves over the mountains 😅)and just started playing.  The vibe was amazing, the energy of the people dancing touched my soul deeply.  I will always be grateful for the symbiosis that we could share behind the decks that evening. A big thank you to all of those who created the magic with us  ❤️🙏
