Folic State's music explores the tension between light and dark, formulating expansive soundscapes among warm, driving percussion. In late 2019 he was handpicked by techno icon Dubfire as one of the finalists of the SCI+TEC mentoring competition. Over the years, his sound has reached the epitome of abstract sophistication. The Ep is a package of four smashing originals and three remixes. On remix duties, we would like to welcome Damien Fisher with a minimal monster. The second remixer is no other than our psychedelic specialist Dr. Breger who drops another bomb. Last but not least, our chef Ash Roy spins out a trippy story. I've been a DJ since 1991, but I started composing and producing music back in 2005, using Logic Pro and MIDI devices. Over the years, I’ve mixed a wide range of genres - from funk, soul & Motown; to jungle, drum’n bass & breaks; to minimal-tech, trance & deep house.

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds. My early years began listening to music from ABC, The Beatles, The Carpenters Dire Straits Eagles Fleetwood Mac Genesis Elton John Led Zeppelin Gilbert O'Sullivan Rod Stewart Supertramp Tangerine Dream Vangelis The Who and many more.
If you can't spot a trend in my current likes it may be because it is diverse. I love listening to all my playlists which contain tracks that I like and if you like any of the music you must thank the artists not me.
