Solkatt prepares their second release on their own Irish imprint Made Magnetic. For Questions, it's a heavy house record with a strong melodic edge.
 
Releasing Oct.8th, the original is paired with a couple of heavyweight remixers who do not disappoint. Each taking the record in a unique direction to create a versatile record that walks between breaks and a more traditional 4x4 backbone. A record as suited to home as it is the club, and sure to be welcome in a lot of collections.

Having established themselves as one of Anjunadeep's leading acts over the past 12 months with three stunning EPs and notorious bootlegs of Depeche Mode and Radiohead, Cubicolor return with their boldest and most diverse release to date with the 'Down The Wall EP'.

The four track EP has won early DJ support from tastemakers like Lee Burridge, Axel Boman and Patrice Baumel, who join a list of supporters that includes Pete Tong and Danny Tengalia.

Title track 'Down The Wall' sets the tone with a warm stuttering bassline rolling beneath subtle melodies and a heady chugging groove. Eerie stabs ebb and flow whilst the surging bass groove bends from subtle spaciousness into towards an effervescent crescendo.

'Clime' continues the trippy vibes with barely-there percussion and a stunning melodic riff that soars alongside soulful vocal hums. 'Cage Of Love' fuses another pulsating groove with distorted bleeps and bags of atmosphere, whilst 'Musicians' takes us down the rabbit hole with driving analogue percussion, spectral melodies and a memorable sample - “what you're listening to, are musicians forming psychedelic music under the influence of mind altering chemicals”.

Music can elicit all kinds of emotions. In Fairchild’s case, icy soundscapes bristling with trance synths and house rhythms evoke feelings of both unease and euphoria often within the same space. It’s this sort of cinematic unpredictability that defines the classically trained anonymous producer who’s bringing a film score sensibility a la Drive and Blade Runner to the dance floor. Releasing two new tracks for Arkade Records, “Titan” & "Remnants” and both in the seven-minute range, he sets a journey in motion propelled by sonic futurism and timeless musical architecture. LNOE 126 takes a deep dive into Shadow Child’s ‘Polymod’ alias, alongside a very rewarding collaboration with Sasha on the title track ‘Full Circle’. The result is astonishing! Listening to the sounds certainly makes you feel the chemistry between these producers in the shaping of this sonic landscape. 

Polymod showcases a fresh take on raw drumbeats and deep synthesizer lines on this EP. On the title track ‘Full Circle’ Polymod and Sasha collaborated, resulting in a colourful uplifting track which is guaranteed to make you smile.

We asked Polymod how these tracks came to be; - “I made the tracks pretty quickly during lockdown, whilst jamming with my 808 and some granular synths. I love combining the grittiness of the drum production with atmospheric pads and arpeggios.. you can tap into so many vibes and feelings. ‘Full Circle’ was an unfinished idea though, and I’m stoked Sasha wanted to finish that one together”. 

This EP will include the collaboration along with three original Polymod tracks. This collection of tracks complements each other in every way. The full release will be out on October 2nd.
