Emerging Italian talent Cora is the one who provided Black Rose Recordings' twelfth EP. A truly amazing work that ranges from the darker side of the techno production to the most sentimental and melancholy nuance, but still strong and brilliant.

The first track is "The Age Of Rebirth", a real gem that combines a warm and deep kick with a persistent arpeggio that continues to evolve throughout the composition.
The second piece of music is "Violent Desires", a very powerful track that hits the listener with a particular and hypnotic rhythm, made up of classic techno sounds. everything evolves by introducing an epic melody that explodes at the heart of the track.

The EP closes with "Kingdom of Dreams", a beautyful composition that brings a very dark but melodic atmosphere to the foreground, with a very well designed synth that develops methodically. a powerful and dramatic track that represents the mood of the ep in an excellent way.

Since 2002, Henrik Schwarz’s music has successfully striked a balance between electronic, classical and jazz. He has applied his unique style to the likes of Stevie Wonder, Claptone, Coldplay, Mary J. Blige, and London Grammar, and garnered support from the likes of Pete Tong, RUFUS DU SOL, Dixon, ÂME, Diplo, Bonobo, and Anja Schneider. Now Schwarz makes his Anjunadeep debut with his remix of Lakou Mizik & Joseph Ray’s ‘Lamizè Pa Dous’, taken from their upcoming album ‘Leave the Bones’. 

Melancholic and evocative, ‘Lamizè Pa Dous’ focuses on one woman’s search for support and meaning. Singing the words “misery is not sweet”, she is pleading with her friends, her community, and the angels to help her get to a better place. Beautiful yet brutally sad, the eventual lyrics “Bondyè rele’m m prale” signal that it is too much and she has given up - “God is calling me and I’m going to go.”

Schwarz exacerbates the original melancholic tones via a jazzy chord progression and a dissonant hard-hitting hook. The remix is the second of the Leave the Bones album campaign (out August 6th). Announced via NPR World Cafe with first single ‘Ogou (Pran Ka Mwen), the album has already garnered support from BBC Radio 1, Radio 3, and Radio 6, NPR, KCRW, KEXP, CRACK, and Songlines.

Out today, July 28th, Anish Sood releases his first track as Anyasa marking the beginning of his transition to a new artist name and signature sound.

‘Rasiya’ is the first single from Anyasa’s debut four track EP Gaya, and it sets the tone for Anish’s new style which is a unique blend of electronic production that has become his trademark over the past decade and Indian classical vocals that represent his roots. Gaya, a derivation from ‘Gaia’ the Greek goddess of Mother Earth, is an ode to feminine energy, the raw creative force from which all artistry is born. 
 
This sentiment is personified by the four stand-out singer/songwriters who have contributed to this EP – Isheeta Chakravarty, Bawari Basanti, Avneet Khurmi and Amira Gill. Each of them have collaborated with Anish to create a sound that is emotive and evocative. A series of Instagram and Spotify discoveries resulted in this collaborative journey – one layered with unique textures owing to Anish’s unconventional use of classical vocals with contemporary house and techno production.
 
What started off as an experimental project during lockdown turned into a process of transformation with Anish finding himself gravitating towards this new sound. “It’s almost like this transition was meant to happen at this point in time” says Anish, and that led to the name Anyasa which means “spontaneous and effortless” in Sanskrit.
 
Having started his music career in 2008 at the age of 18, Anish played a huge part in shaping the dance music scene in India and is no stranger to the global platform. At the forefront of the electronic music movement in the country, he’s toured alongside a wide array of acts ranging from Dixon and Black Coffee to David Guetta and Kygo, while performing at global festivals including Tomorrowland Unite and Electric Daisy Carnival as well as co-writing a song with the Black Eyed Peas. 
 
However, this EP marks a special milestone. Anish is the first Indian artist to be signed to Anjunadeep, the label founded by Above & Beyond and named after the infamous Anjuna Beach in Goa, close to where Anish lives. On being the first artist from India to appear on the label Anish talks about how “Anjunadeep is a globally revered label and a dream for any electronic muisician to work with” and that “I couldn’t have dreamt of a better home for this EP”. 

Gaya is slated for worldwide release on 12th August, while Rasiya, the first look into this new sound is out on the 28th of July.

'For the 89th release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital, Barcelona based duo Far Distance returns to the label with a debut EP of technique and talent in "Hyperspace / Stardust".

A production duo with a rich musical heritage, Peio Rios & Danny Murphy have courted considerable success on esteemed labels such as Toolroom, Highway Records, and Mercurial Tones, supported by an elite list that includes Solomun, Carl Cox, Joris Voorn, Nora En Pure, and Richie Hawtin. Deciding to cement their partnership with the Far Distance moniker, the Spanish pair created a data stream between their homes in Bilbao and Barcelona with impressive results after a debut on their own label Rocked in 2014. Their collaboration with Stefan Addo titled "Worm Hole" in April 2021 marked the pair's first appearance on Perspectives.

Now making their full EP debut on the imprint, "Hyperspace" opens with a chest-thumping kick and grooved bassline, while reverb-drenched synth lines and a glorious syncopated arpeggio give the aural impression of deep space. An earworm motif soon makes its presence felt as white noise effects and swirling soundscapes swim across the stereo spectrum with ease. Building to a powerful crescendo at the breakdown, the rhythmic foundation returns in the second half providing gravitas once more.

"Stardust" continues the melodic storytelling of its partner track as a running bassline and driving beat create a framework for a shimmering motif to filter in and out of sonic range. Evolving with ease, spine-tingling chord changes and club-friendly snare rolls create a powerful sonic force that is sure to find favor with leading A-list DJs across the summer festival circuit.

Rauschhaus needs little introduction to the underground dance faithful with his immaculate production credentials and 24-carat portfolio. Over a decade spent honing his sound, the German artist has 200+ credits to his name for some of the finest modern imprints that include Stil Vor Talent, Einmusika, Parquet Recordings, and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. A veteran of the club circuit in his Kiel hometown and beyond, Rauschhaus has been hosting his own nights in the city for several years, while performances behind the decks in Moscow, Johannesburg, and Zurich illustrate his wider global appeal.

Returning to Perspectives Digital after last year's outstanding remix of "Rome" by Juan Pablo Torrez, the Rauschhaus interpretation of "Hyperspace" is a sublime offering that revels in trademark melodic flair, as echoes of the Far Distance original resonate through the 7 minute piece. Before long, rippling new motifs from the Rauschhaus production arsenal cascade atop driving rhythmic force and simple offbeat percussion. Hitting its stride in the second half with emotive chord changes and mirrored bassline movement, the result is a powerful remix full of flair and impressive maturity.'

Biography: 
Alex ElVíl (DJ, Producer, Remixer), Buenos Aires Argentina From a very young age has been involved in a great music scene. His father, a DJ from the 70s and 80s, introduced him to the sounds that would define his future in music. During his adolescence he practiced and studied music. He joined the rock circuit as a drummer. Experienced in various styles, Rock, Punk Rock, Pop, electronic ... Later on he was part of the famous “CLUB XXI Tent” in which great electronic DJs played, such as Carlos Alfonsín, Luis Nieva, Zuker, Romina Cohn, Benedetta, Rowan Blades, Spitfire, among others ... He took an interest in it and turned to mixing and production software. His alias changed to Alex ElVíl (a tribute to his father who was his teacher and an active part of this project). From that great change, new sounds and musical styles emerged, which led him to meet both national and international DJs. As for live sessions, he has played at local events, sets at live shows, live sets on online radios, etc. In 2011 he joined the Staff of BeatLounge with the RadioShow called "BeatClub". In this show we will be able to appreciate new sounds and trends from different genres of electronic music. House and its subgenres (Progressive House, Deep House, Tech House, etc) are some of the styles that can be heard in BeatClub. Having shared the decks with everyone from Cubicolor to Martin Roth, and having a debut EP on Bedrock earlier this year, Canada's juSt b is swiftly becoming a name too hard to ignore. Her debut release on Balance delivers an exceptionally cerebral track that will sit flush in many sets. Also featured are four quality remixes that take in everything from deep techno, to breaks and more…

The deep beat on 'Light Sweeper' is undeniable with its mysterious energy. Glacial synths sweep the top end while being punctured by pondering piano stabs. There is bipolar nature to the production: warm and enveloping in the lows yet cold and wintry in the highs. It's a steady rhythm intent on intoxicating you.

The @audioglider remix reconstitutes the original into a thick, almost Amen breaks like direction. The synths are blown up to an optimal size and layered into a melodic sequence, keeping the original mystery. The breakdown is progressive house bliss, melancholy without being saccharine, before crashing back into the rhythm with added vocal by juSt b and soaring strings.

@jameswelsh's deep techno take is filled with percolating percussive hits and melodic arps weaving in and out of each other with total abandon. Featuring a considerably bigger kick, this is one to kickstart the main room.

The @mattrmusic remix starts off minimal with a deep meta physical engine, a hulking rhythm that slowly moves forward. Two separate breakdowns introduce a rising melody soaked in emotion, and the latter explodes into a 4/4 pattern that will sound divine on a dusty festival dancefloor.

If you're after the perfect opening track, look no further than the elegant remix from @ev3rsun. With its delightful opening 2 minute sequence, it is one part ambient and one part secret waiting to be told. It breaks into a gentle rhythm that sets the mood for what's to follow.

Pattison has purposefully made Asyn’s airy vocal the star of the show. With added trademark effects running throughout, we think that Come A Bit Closer is Pattison’s best work to date.
