Every DJ has their own style, but they never played what I liked and that's why I decided to start my own career. My sound has a lot of variety between Techno, Tech House, Minimal and Melodic Techno. Originally based in Berlin. The City itself, which is well known as one of the capitals of electronic music, had a big influence on me and formed my taste in music today. Legendary Israeli progressive duo Weekend Heroes are back to Timeless Moment, this time with their first ever solo EP on the label.  

With an amazing history of over 10 years of its project, Weekend Heroes stormed the progressive house scene early last decade like a true phenomenon.  The duo became world renowned  with a series of remixes for the likes of Deadmau5, Ticon and Jerome Isma-Ae , and releases on labels such as Iboga, Spinnin, Toolroom and Armada that rocked dance floors worldwide.  As a result, the duo became a constant feature on the main stage of festivals worldwide, building a great reputation between Progressive House lovers.  

Now Weekend Heroes bring “Late Bloomers” and “departed” to Timeless Moment as part of their brand new EP release.  

‘Late Bloomers’ is a dark hypnotic progressive house masterpiece that mixes extreme obscure ambiences with organic techno synths and tribal percussion work. On top of this, the duo brings an enigmatic vocal and very emotional harmonies on its breakdown, making this track not just very unique and special, but timeless. 

Finishing this amazing EP we have “Departed”, a very deep single that captivates introspective inner feelings with its mellow harmonies, evolving pluck riffs and immersive melodies.

The new 4-track EP is also accompanied by a pair of stellar acid tinged remixes: hard techno from DJ Nookie under his Binary State moniker and tech house rave from Fuse resident Seb Zito.

Skippy vibes and catchy riffs abound in A-side track 'Feel', anchored by an emotional vocal sample and deep sub-bass drops.

For the first remix on 1HX we invited the legendary DJ Nookie to re-work 'Feel' in inimitable techno style. Adopting his Binary State alias, and fresh from remixing Goldie’s classic 'Inner City Life', the resulting remix is hard, uncompromising techno guaranteed to get bodies moving.

IAMI reached out to longtime friend Seb Zito to remix 'Feel', and over the course of 6 minutes he melds together influences from house, techno and rave into a sinuous electronic groove, all acid synths and 21st Century tech house beats. One for fans of Seb Zito, Fuse, and DJ Haus’s ‘Unknown to the Unknown’ imprint.

On the B-side, IAMI shows his now characteristic versatility with 'Seen'. The deep, dark and conspiratorial future garage sounds showing once again IAMI’s deftness of touch and fearless production ethic.

A Friend of Marcus made an impressive launch on the scene in 2017 with his debut track 'She who Annihilates' featured on Henry Saiz’s Balance presents Natura Sonoris compilation; many calling it a stand out track. Released on NS again in March 2018 with a Petar Dundov remix, it saw support from Sasha, Henry Saiz, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy Mantzur, Eagles & Butterflies & more. 

His second release - a remix of Depaart’s “Blowing Smoke” came out on Sasha’s famous Last Night on Earth with support from Sasha, John Digweed, Guy J, Joris Voorn, Tiefschwarz, Fideles and many more. Then came “The Distant Water Beyond” on Booka Shade’s Blaufield, getting plays from Joseph Capriati, Lane 8, John Digweed, Paco Osuna, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and more.   November 2019 saw “Multiple Rays” as his second compilation listing, this time with Balance presents Vivrant with Jeremy Olander, featuring at the peak of the highly acclaimed double disc journey. Support from John Digweed, Henry Saiz, Eelke Kleijn, Nick Warren and more. His most recent release “Suspension Point”, his second release on Natura Sonoris came out March 2020 with two originals - “Ellipsis” and “Falling Short” - along with a killer techno remix from Blacktik.

As a DJ, A.F.O.M picked up a residency for Balance music’s global events, playing in Jakarta, Singapore and Noumea with Scuba, Apparat and Guy Mantzur. He’s also supported the likes of Solomun, Dixon and Guy Gerber in Melbourne, Shanghai & Mar del Plata along with playing the mighty Epizode Festival in Vietnam and legendary D-Edge in Sao Paulo. He’s performed in Asia at VENT and Womb in Tokyo, Iron Fairies in KL and Celia in Shanghai, as well as supporting Jamie Jones for two shows in Melbourne with Untitled Group including the infamous Wool Store. He is set to make his debut for Tronic in the next Ibiza season, and has upcoming shows at Vision in Tokyo along with a tour of India. His “I am not only colour” mixes continue to receive a ton of love online and his music and guest mixes have featured on Radio 3, John Digweed’s Transitions, Triple J Mix Up, Decoded Magazine, Proton Radio and more. 

A Friend of Marcus sets are full of exclusive tracks, unreleased edits and upfront promos along with his own works. The dedication to his art is evident in every set; each paced, structured and with a purpose. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of funk, European electronica and synth-infused 80s music, infused with his own love for both hip-hop and video game music, MBryan has a broad spectrum of musical influence. The musical output of Vienna-based electronic producer Transient Lines is shaped by both his past experience as a guitarist in various bands in the rock/metal genre and his love for listening to and exploring electronic soundscapes that developed over the course of the last few years.

His recent release, a 5 track EP entitled 'Calm Unrest', is rich of subtle textures, atmospheric depth, and dancefloor rhythms – a distillation and refinement of his previous work which comprises 2019’s Myriads EP and a full-length album, 'Asetelma', in 2020.

Written, recorded, and edited over the course of four months in his home studio at the turn of this past new year, Calm Unrest is a testimony to his drive as a musician, arising from a certain inner restlessness. At the same time, the contradictory title aims to describe a felt quietude and peace whilst getting lost in the process of creating music. The whole record is an attempt to blend a melancholic ground colour with euphoric and cheerful elements. A mood that is very tangible throughout the entire release.

Having shared the decks with everyone from Cubicolor to Martin Roth, and having a debut EP on Bedrock earlier this year, Canada's juSt b is swiftly becoming a name too hard to ignore. Her debut release on Balance delivers an exceptionally cerebral track that will sit flush in many sets. Also featured are four quality remixes that take in everything from deep techno, to breaks and more…

The deep beat on 'Light Sweeper' is undeniable with its mysterious energy. Glacial synths sweep the top end while being punctured by pondering piano stabs. There is bipolar nature to the production: warm and enveloping in the lows yet cold and wintry in the highs. It's a steady rhythm intent on intoxicating you.

The @audioglider remix reconstitutes the original into a thick, almost Amen breaks like direction. The synths are blown up to an optimal size and layered into a melodic sequence, keeping the original mystery. The breakdown is progressive house bliss, melancholy without being saccharine, before crashing back into the rhythm with added vocal by juSt b and soaring strings.

@jameswelsh's deep techno take is filled with percolating percussive hits and melodic arps weaving in and out of each other with total abandon. Featuring a considerably bigger kick, this is one to kickstart the main room.

The @mattrmusic remix starts off minimal with a deep meta physical engine, a hulking rhythm that slowly moves forward. Two separate breakdowns introduce a rising melody soaked in emotion, and the latter explodes into a 4/4 pattern that will sound divine on a dusty festival dancefloor.

If you're after the perfect opening track, look no further than the elegant remix from @ev3rsun. With its delightful opening 2 minute sequence, it is one part ambient and one part secret waiting to be told. It breaks into a gentle rhythm that sets the mood for what's to follow.

Kiz Pattison has teamed up with the vocal talents of Asyn, on his first solo release with us. Come A Bit Closer, is a stripped back progressive journey! Pattison has purposefully made Asyn’s airy vocal the star of the show. With added trademark effects running throughout, we think that Come A Bit Closer is Pattison’s best work to date.

With releases on Renaissance, Balance, and many other respected imprints. Mattr has gained much respect with his progressive breaks sound. His remix provides a balance between day time parties, to sunrise settings, rounding off another fantastic release that we are very proud of.

Opening with a glistening pad & tight off-beat percussive line, the title track Colos invites you to explore a sort of fantastical trek through the purest of euphoria, with its mellifluous warmth & playful vocal carrying you all the way to the end.

Radiating a neoclassical quality is the second superb offering, XR. Its gentle organic rhythmic elements & key-work paired with a subtle vox bathe you in a highly visceral state of bliss.

Finding deep resonance with the likes of forward-thinking arists like Max Cooper, Otik, Boards of Canada, Overmono, Jon Hopkins, & Ulrich Schnauss, Mattr has always veered towards the left-field end of the electronic spectrum, with granular synthesis, random midi-expressions and intricate drum programming at the root of his signature raw emotive productions.

Back in his hometown of Birmingham, he hosted nights at Black Box with fellow innovator Alex Banks & Maxxi Soundsystem, signing music to Faceless Recordings, Ozono, & TrippyCode. With support from Amé, Guy Gerber, & Laurent Garnier, to name a few, he went on to launch his own imprint Helical Scan with Lewyn Stan followed by Loft & Sound where he’s released a string of exquisite melters, including Primary, Spiel, & Celadon.
