The very first Fivos song I heard on SoundCloud was his beautiful and haunting Nightly Walker.  I asked Fivos to share with me his score so I could at least enjoy playing his Nightly Walker, and at Fivos' urging, I am going to post my version on SC.  

I will not attempt to be Fivos - I could never be as talented as Fivos, and his wonderful songs and playing.  I am just posting this simple and non-improvised version (except the ending) as a tribute to Fivos and as a thank you to all his wonderful music.  He is brilliant and this is just a "junior" version of Nightly Walker that I enjoyed recording.  

Thanks Fivos for the score and for your tremendous talent and music!  Keep on sharing it and we'll keep on listening.

Kabalevsky's 'Valse Lente' or otherwise known as 'A Slow Waltz' is an emotionally thoughtful piece with melancholy chordal changes and it requires a very delicate touch.  I hope you enjoy my interpretation and variation on this from one of my favourite composers from the 20th century.

Dmitri Kabalevsky - Valse Lente (Glenn Morrison playing on a Bechstein)

Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach was a harpsichordist and composer, the fifth son of Johann Sebastian Bach, sometimes referred to as the "Bückeburg Bach". He is not to be confused with other similarly named members of the Bach family.

I really love this simple piece mostly due to its chordal harmonies but also the arpeggiated melodies and counterpoint rhythms.

I took some liberties with it, replacing the chords on the left hands with mini arpeggios, and playing it on electric instruments. I call this take "Electrocution". :-) A little bit Vangelis-style.

The instrument is Clavia Nord Stage 2 using a sampled Rhodes Mark I electric piano set to low and a pulse wave virtual-analog waveform oscillator.

Glenn has had an unusual career path. He started off as a classical pianist, a preteen prodigy, performing  – and winning – competitions. Then came a life-changing encounter with electronic music.

Be it sound design for video game companies like Nintendo, EA Sports, Activision or Rockstar, or his own productions, he simply doesn’t stop making and playing music.
