Corruttela is an Italian side-project rising from the artistic connection of Emiliano Pietrini (Globoscuro) + Edoardo Pistolesi Somigli (Edø Pistø Sømi) with the aim of exploring new sound potentialities through a 4-hands compositional approach in which the two artistic personalities are giving birth to a renovated concept, in which electronic and analogue ambient refined flows are walking arm in arm, and melt in a psychedelic and concrete "harmonious disharmony". The 4 tracks in this 2nd album are characterized by tortured ambient atmospheres kneaded with jazzy gusts and seasoned with noisy spices of concrete extraction, giving life to a partly cosmic, partly volcanic work in which harmonies and disharmonies "fight in peace" to shape their idyllic yet frenetic sound universe.

"The Mother Stone" is of these oneiric albums that realizes its pure poetic lavishness due to the purposeful intersection of significances, metaphors, instruments, interpretations and wavering ecletic moods. String instruments, mallet instruments, guitars, piano, vocoder, synthesizers, field recordings, and voices which harmonize the acting in 3 distinct languages (english, french, and italian) are the vital ingredients that form this intimate concoction of poetry, music, noise, theater and silence thus creating a pulsating flow of darkness and a driving force that seems capable to generate surrealistic parallel universes. The glitch side of the album is mostly reduced, and if crackles, squeakings or streams of static noise occur, they are by their very nature present yet distant, a voiceover that amalgamates and combines but definitely embraced by the caress of a dis-harmonious improvisational squared structures.

This is the newest and probably most fully collaborative track in what Victor and I plan to offer as an album of our work together, much to my delight and honor.

Victor wrote that, "In this piece I recover from my childhood as from a lucid dream." We also agreed: "Our hope is that this music takes us to immerse ourselves in a place that does not belong to everyday reality. Yet we are already and always there, where we have many possibilities to feel what we really want and need, quietly observing without becoming entangled. Of course, it cannot be a  purely idyllic spot, for danger and threat hover as always."

Corruttela is an Italian side-project rising from the artistic connection of Emiliano Pietrini (Globoscuro) + Edoardo Pistolesi Somigli (Edø Pistø Sømi) with the aim of exploring new sound potentialities through a 4-hands compositional approach in which the two artistic personalities are giving birth to a renovated concept, in which electronic and analogue ambient refined flows are walking arm in arm, and melt in a psychedelic and concrete "harmonious disharmony". The 4 tracks in this first work are characterized by a heterogeneous homogeneity, mainly based on the alchemic fusion of electronic sounds intertwining with smart piano-esque bleeps, gusts of concrete noise, irrational wooden percussions, synthesizers and theremin that walk together with different kind of steps but in a stubbornly common direction. Paradoxically the panorama that opens up raves geometrically outlined visions, it is a sort of sonic poem without words which leads on a corridor with many doors and many entrances that revolve around the different cardinal points of a common caothic universe.
