Featuring an exquisite selection of Deep House, Techno and seductive shades of electronica our family of MYR artists contributed a monumental amount of quality music during 2021/2022 with stellar releases and remixes from Hanna Haïs, Juli Lee, Kaiser Waldon, Nesker, Ivo Deutschmann, Scotty Cal and label owner Goeran Meyer.

MYR Records label head Goeran Meyer returns with more emotive sounds on the new EP 'Shadows of the Night' featuring a remix from Mario Navajo. Versatile live act, DJ and producer Meyer is on a hot streak right now and continues to serve up profound electronic cuts that draw on his skills as a sound designer. Known for his ability to finely sculpt audio and lay down melodies with real meaning, he explores a new sound here with predictably great results. First up is a superb vocal edit of 'Shadows of the Night' which begins slowly and mysteriously with a percussive intro and finely tuned drum settings. After some breathtaking breaks and stirring African vocals, the track gradually builds up through rich synth arps and driving kicks that are rich in mood and sure to lock in the dance floor. After the instrumental strips away the vocal, the collaborative 'Gimme That Love' edit with Mario Navajo is another deeply absorbing and widescreen trip with deep bass and a dark and moody vocal from Mario that recalls Depeche Mode. It's an involving journey that makes a striking emotional impact.

Martín Serbali is a progressive DJ and producer from Rosario, Argentina, known for crafting dark, atmospheric sets that balance emotion with energy. Influenced by Guy J and John Digweed, his playing style blends progressive with touches of minimal, deep tech, and deep house, always adapting to the moment.

Since 2021, Martín has released on respected labels such as Mango Alley, Juicebox, Traful, Droid9, One of a Kind, and AH Digital, with support from some of his favorite artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Sahar Z, Simon Vuarambon, Ezequiel Arias, Mariano Mellino and John Cosani to name a few. His music has been played at iconic Argentine venues including Metropolitano, Forja, and Mandarine Park, where standout moments include opening for Mariano Mellino and Ezequiel Arias at Metropolitano. Whether at home or abroad, Martin’s goal is simple: to create immersive journeys where people can dance, connect, and lose themselves in the present.

🎧 I'm currently at home recovering from laser eye surgery to correct my myopia. The recovery process has been a challenge, with some pain and boredom, but I'm making progress.

We are excited to premiere ‘Paris’, the latest release from Copenhagen and Stockholm-based duo goldgoldgold. Out 26 September on their own label Contemplating Others, the track is a poetic yet tightly wound club cut that balances mechanical drive with a deep emotional pull.

Built around a cold, steady beat, ‘Paris’ is defined by the duo’s distinctive approach to sampling and texture. Rough fragments of pop vocals are chopped, reshaped, and woven into a soundscape that is both haunting and hypnotic. The beat feels stark and functional, while the melodic layers bring melancholy and atmosphere, creating a tension that works on both the dancefloor and in more introspective listening.

goldgoldgold is the project of Danish brothers William and August Hoffmann, whose creative bond has been evolving since their teenage years. Together, they channel their shared vision into music that they describe as “aesthetic dance music,” a phrase that captures their desire to create tracks that are both functional and deeply expressive. ‘Paris’ feels like a culmination of that mission, a track that thrives on contrast and duality.
