Paper has been pushing all things deep house and disco from the furthest reaches of the world via the good old North of England since the early Nineties.

The label has already featured a new series of EP's showcasing the best new dance music and future funk, house and disco from the world's finest producers.

We kicked off in 1994, leading the upsurge in popularity of UK house music within an underground scene previously dominated by a soundtrack from US cities like Chicago, Detroit and New York. Enhanced by a strong visual identity, as well as impeccable musical quality control PAPER was, and is one of the world’s most treasured record companies.

It continues to be funk-fuelled and bottom heavy!

Deejaying since very long time & now producing.

Passion for music since childhood, many & diverse sounds have influenced him such as soul, disco, italo, synth pop, new wave, ebm, new beat, acid house, trance, detroit techno, cologne sound, idm, … and above all Sade & Depeche Mode, his reference bands.

The spirit & soul of those sounds somehow are present when he plays or produces music, resulting on a unique amalgam of apparently contradicted feelings & emotions, as darkness & sentiment, longing & happiness, electronics & warmness, subtlety & forcefulness, sophistication & effectiveness.

Since his dj debut in 1992, he has combined dj residences at Concor, Forum and Concuerda, with gigs at some of most relevant clubs in Barcelona area, as Lasal, Macarena or Otto Zutz, and has shared dj booth with many of most reputed djs and producers.

In 2020 Gonzalo Pérez debuts as music producer. Since then, he has been putting out music under two distinct aliases, Gonzalo and Smooth Revelator, his electronic pop project. Now in 2025, here is Gonzalo's third release, Flying into Ecstasy.

Yoash is an electronic music architect who shapes darkness, tension, and raw emotion into pulsating sonic landscapes. Blending the relentless drive of techno, the body-moving aggression of EBM, and the experimental edges of electro, Yoash creates music that feels alive—wired with electricity, grit, and intention.

His productions move like machinery with a soul: metallic percussion, distorted basslines, hypnotic rhythms, and melodies that flicker like neon signs on empty streets. Every track is a confrontation—an exploration of chaos, control, and the thin line between the two.

Releasing 3–4 EPs a year, Yoash builds a continuous narrative through his music, each project a new chapter in an evolving universe of shadowed dance floors, late-night intensity, and industrial emotion. His sound is crafted not just for clubs, but for worlds where the human body becomes an instrument and the beat becomes a declaration.

Heading towards their 28th Birthday in June this year, and having been responsible for discovering some of the best up and coming producers in electronic music. It’s safe to say that London-based Freerange Records is one of the most consistent and acclaimed UK indie House labels operating today.

Craig Smith & Graeme Clark (The Revenge) have worked together in the studio for over 25 years, crafting quality house jams and exploring long forgotten funk and dusty disco dubs. Their output on the revered Delusions Of Grandeur label, reinforced by their extended genre-spanning back-to-back DJ sets has helped carve their reputation as trusted producers and selectors.
