It's late but, hey, what do you expect for nothing? I really like the Melissa Laveaux track that opens this week's list, it's fresh and original. I also like the soul stylings of Mama's Gun, and don't be fooled by the word "Disco" in the title of the No Hot Ashes track, although it does mark the transition into more danceable stuff, with shades of LCD Soundsystem to the Partials track. The mood continues through to the dub closer, which is an old track from Gentlemen's Dub Club. Melissa Laveaux gets track of the week, though, for me, although only by a small margin.
