What happens when the spirit of Tokyo meets the raw, grey edges of Novosibirsk?
You get Artworker EP by Tsubasa Arakawa (@tsubasa-arakawa) — a sound architect balancing on the edge of digital utopia and industrial dream. When the last worker leaves the factory, only noise remains in the empty halls. And shadows. Tsubasa Arakawa recorded them. Artworker EP is a chronicle of silence after the process. It’s what happens when the machines fall asleep, and sound stays awake.

Nine chapters of a technical symphony, written in the code of dub mechanics.

::: "Artworker" – an act of creation, a mechanical poem where each sample is calibrated. A chronicle of silence after the process. The sound that remains when the machines shut down.
::: "Kizlyar" – a hypnotic waltz with echoes from the Caucasus, through fog and bass catacombs. A distant junction at the edge of time, where rhythm glides down a dusty road into memory.
::: "Polivoks M" – the synthesizer as narrator, speaking through distortion of an era when technology was analog and emotion direct. Synthesized nostalgia pulsing through old hardware.
::: "Labor Union" – a rhythmic solidarity march, a post-industrial anthem for a city that no longer exists. A sonic poster made of synths and echo, transmitting unity wave by wave.

The remixes? They are alternative edits. Parallel stories.

::: Deepdrome (@deepdrome) lends Polivoks M a chilling gravity and acidic groove — thoughts melt, the subconscious downloads.
::: Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube & @x_fr), with a Novosibirsk inflection, reimagines Labor Union as an abandoned plant where echo is the only worker left.
::: Takashi Mori (@cogolo-mori) reinterprets Artworker as a digital zen canvas, stripping away the superfluous — leaving only the breath of the music.
::: Wataru Naruse (@wataru-naruse) gives Polivoks M a second wind: strict, focused — like a space station adrift in orbit.
::: Soma Kosugi (@yochugi) lifts Kizlyar into a storm-lit sky of synthesizer textures, where borders dissolve and rhythm becomes the only compass.

Artworker EP is an engineering album about building worlds from sound. About creating bridges between nations, languages, and vibrations. A manifesto of transnational dub techno — grounded in culture, launched beyond the horizon. An archive. A legacy. Left behind by a sound engineer in an abandoned hangar.

and played an important key figure in the Tel Avivian music culture and art back in the days.

This record is a clash between past and present with a slight wink to the future and we are very honored to press it.

On the A side you can find a Red Axes Edit of Siam's Tel Aviv Downtown, this is a fast time machine journey which takes the dirt and the safety pins of Tel Aviv in the 80s and delivers it on a futuristic cut. 

"In the realm of" was and still is a club anthem over here since it was released in 1989, and was mostly identified with the legendary "Penguin Club" (a crazy basement club which hosted all the best shows and parties during the 80s and 90s).

Bot’Ox unveils ‘The Face of Another’, the third extract from next album “Sans Dormir” following ‘Basement Love’ and ‘2.4.1’. Fans of Bot’Ox’s first album and especially of the hit single ‘Blue Steel’ will be delighted to hear the soft voice of Anna Jean again. The Face of Another displays several musical faces: starting like an atmospheric movie soundtrack, it then turns into a moody discopop song before going epic rock halfway through. 

The single is supported by an animated video by French graphic designer Flokim Lucas, and five remixes:
- by Tevo Howard, one of the best ‘emerging’ house producers these years although he started spinning in Chicago in 1987; he takes ‘The Face of Another’ into his own vintage drum-machine musical world - one could say his inner world - with great sensitivity.
- by Barcelona-based producer Golden Bug, who highlights the nu-disco pattern of the original, adding his special funky robot touch.
- by techno London producer Raudive: his take on the song strips the production and focuses the efforts on intensity and increasing the pressure.
- by Tuff City Kids: the German duo provides some effectiveness material for the dancefloor masses.
- by Helsinki band K-X-P who put their great rythmic talents into practice to deliver a muscled instrumental pop tune.
