Sabo returns to his record label Sol Selectas with the 2nd part of his collaborative studio album titled “Buddy System”. It features new remixes by artists including DJ T., DJ Chus, Derun, Laroz & T-Pulse, Abel Ray, Guy Mayaan, Inigo Vontier, Mula FR, Zuma Dionys and Nutia.

“Buddy System” came out in 2020, and featured eight original tracks. Each track saw Sabo team up with a different producer from around the globe, and the release featured collaborations with Dandara, Hot Oasis, Namito, UNER, Saint Flip, Noema, Metrika and SidiRum.

This new release breathes fresh life into a classic release that fuses electronic sounds and melodies influenced by cultures from around the world with indigenous rhythms of organic percussion. Sabo is a globetrotting DJ who has compiled 25 years of collecting music into his own productions, and Buddy System blends that with the influence of other artists and friends who he has met on his travels.

Long time fans of Sol Selectas will recognise many of the artists who collaborated on the original plus the people behind the new remixes, but it also features special guests including the likes of Get Physical label owner DJ T. and DJ Chus of Chus & Ceballos.

Just like the original release, this epic package includes a varied selection of house music styles including tribal, afro, downtempo, minimal, melodic and deep. Each has an immersive atmosphere with psychedelic vibes and a sun-drenched groove.

Helia Jamali re-imagines her own artwork by brightening up the original and shining a light on the diversity of this incredible release.

Qualista dedicates its second compilation VA to Olympos (the home of gods), the ancient capital city of Lycia which is located in the south west of Antalya. 

The ruins date back to hellenistic era approximately 300 BC. Cicero describes Olympos as a city full of wealth and art.
Olympos is not only a city and a mountain but also home to Chimera a mythical creature with the head of a lion, the body of a goat, and the tail of a snake. 


The coast around Olympos is one of the loveliest spots in all of Turkey and home to a wide range of flora and fauna.
Qualista aims to introduce its environment and cultural heritage to the world through music under the name of ‘Stairs to Olympos’ as a social responsibility.

“East of the Sun” takes the sitar instrument of India on a vacation to an African Safari. The percussion and energetic synth work, along with deep vocal chants, and uplifting sitar melodies, keep the vibes high. 

“West of the Sun” contains earthly audio elements, live percussion fills, and bubbling bass notes, layered over ethereal vocal mantras, to create a powerful dance floor experience.

Coming all the way from Tel-Aviv via Istanbul, T-Puse and Menachem 26 join up for their inaugural drop on A Tribe Called Kotori with their lush and chugging collaborative debut, "Stav". Blending in the swaying roll of classic Middle-Eastern folk with processed club artillery, the pair develop a sound that pays a honest and forward-pushing tribute to the area's time-withstanding harmonics, throwing their all in casting a more modern light on secular musical tropes and reconfiguring them into vivid, EBM-oriented club material that lacks neither oomph nor soul, that is for sure.

Breaking the EP in, "Agafay" beckons us onto a hybrid pathway, astride tensile body workout wares and more oneiric-flavoured off-piste. As altered caravan rock riffs collide with snake charmers' melodies, further emphasis is laid on the potent but nimble bass which coordinates the groove to correspondingly hypnotic effect. We're thrilled to present Camel Riders' brand new release by Choopie titled 'Blue Hole' ft. Itzhak Ventura, incl. remixes by Laroz, Wassim Younes, Matara. The Israeli producer Choopie, is serving us in his debut release on Camel Riders, a wonderful and masterfully crafted single, along with a mesmerising ambient version, and amazing remixes. This single is characterized by its fusion of traditional middle-eastern elements, with contemporary electronic rhythms and textures, framed by Itzhak Ventura's wonderful Ney flute. This results in a sound that is both timeless and modern, with an undeniable sense of groove and momentum that will keep listeners engaged from start to finish. On Remix duty, 1st we have our label boss Laroz, with his pumping version, full of extremely pleasurable sounds which gives the original a powerful twist. 2nd, we're happy to have back Wassim Younes who returned to our label with a deep and driving remix which exhibits a mystical approach.
