The week had gone from bad to worse; he felt like a magnet for catastrophe. He hoped it would be confined to either work or life but the setbacks and mistakes managed to seep into both areas; worsening day-by-day. But it was yesterday's blunder that cemented the impending crash. When the email arrived from his boss, he knew it was marching orders.

Next month marks the release of 'Life Of Mammals', Museum Of Love's long-awaited follow up to 2014's self-titled LP. The project of LCD Soundsystem drummer Pat Mahoney and DFA affiliate Dennis McNan AKA Jee Day, the pair have been teasing tracks from the forthcoming release on Skint Records, including the recently shared 'Marching Orders' which comes complete with two remixes courtesy of Tel Aviv-based producers Red Axes who gear the track towards the dance floor with a vocal version and a dub mix.

For his first solo EP, Tushen Raï designed a record in the form of a colorful patchwork of sounds, a meticulous collage of samples, surrounding noises and synthesizers. Here, Maori percussion dug on field recording discs from the late 60s and 70s meet Indonesian chants recorded on phones and posted anonymously online. A nostalgic yet deeply contemporary testimony to an imagination weakened resulting from the cultural globalization. 

With "Drums Circles", Tushen Raï wants to reconnect with the adventure novels, from Jules Vernes to Barjavel, which nourished his childhood. Thought out as an ode to the diversity of our cultures, our practices and our beliefs, "Drums Circles" is a cry in favor of open-mindedness and curiosity. It is an invitation to discovery rather than to conquest. 

A humble invitation to embark on a journey and to collective trance. 

With creating Hard Fist, Tushen Raï has found a way to bring together his two passions: collecting records and travelling. From Turkish psychedelism to Romanian cold wave or tribal african techno, his undeniable dancing sets are fed with powerful soul voices, weirdo beats and unknown instruments.

Mishell is an upcoming producer from Tel Aviv. His Slope EP is a very diverse record – every track with a different feel, from positive to even more dark vibes. All of them combine the same influences such as funky vibes, trance melodies, rolling house bass lines as well as organic percussions and instruments. The track Tika was created in collaboration with his good friend Lott.
On top Spanish acid line expert Bawrut contributed a slamming remix that totally sets the dancefloor on fire!

Hard Fist 16th release is on the way and is all about fusion of man and machine, connecting traditional singing to the electronic music dance floor attitude. Signed by prolific composer Omri Smadar, the digital EP also includes remixes by French producer Yuksek and Jordanian musician Shadi Khries. 

Based in Tel Aviv, Omri Smadar’s life is all about composing and connecting, playing and performing, studying and story-telling. From deep history and complex theory to the dark art of dot joining, the academically trained composer and pianist is neck deep in all aspects of the culture and artform. He worked with Correspondant, Tel Aviv’s Blue Shadow and collaborated with well-known musicians such as Siam and Fortis, and to extensive remixes, edits and remoulds of influential Israeli music, such as debut album ‘Collage’ [Nana Disc 2020] 

Phase of Motion EP surrounds the idea of fusing organic-traditional human singing and playing with the electronic music dancefloor attitude. Omri’s work is known for interweaving organic, synthetic and analog. This EP is a perfect example, with its heady vocals and chants going hand in hand with percussion and machine sounds. 
Omri places great importance on the common experience the sharing of music creates. That’s why he produced “Phase of Motion” with some of his close friends: Nenor, Roy Shpilman, Shlomo Gronich and Yogev Haruvi.

Adama (written with Shlomo Gronich and produced with Roy Shpilman) samples the "Sheba Band" - an Israeli-Ethiopian children choir from the early 90's.

After his debut on Kaputt.wav with his track 'Two Worlds', Mufti the Mexican dungeon master returns with his first solo EP 'Eyes Shuttered' for the Colombian imprint.

With a transatic an hypnotic growl that developes and grows throughout, the single 'Eyes shuttered' sets the tone for a dance in the night or in the woods, through clever synthesis , mist, and the words, ''I summon, a creature in disguise , eyes shuttered in the middle of the dark'. Definitely one of Mufti's polished works.

For his second single, Mufti picks up his guitar and turns on the distortion to drive us to the different paths of 'Desires' in his characteristic musical style.

Eyes shuttered also have taken two different ways by being remixed for two incredible and over the top music producers.

'DC Salas', the Belgium & Peruvian master goes full on gotham style and release the chains of the dark creature in his take of the single.

As soon as we realized just how serious the COVID19 situation was, all of us here at @AEON-audio Towers felt strongly that we must try to do something to help.

The virus had put an end to all live events so putting on an AEON party for charity wasn’t an option. With that in mind we felt we should do something around the label. It was also important to us to involve our AEON family too which is why the obvious answer was to open up some of our catalogue by way of a remix competition, with the winning remixes being released and all the profit being donated to the WHO COVID19 Response Fund.

We were mind blown and humbled by, not only the number of remixes that were submitted, but also the high quality of the music. It made choosing the best ones a very difficult task. We think we chose the best ones though, and we will release the results on July 3rd via Bandcamp only.

To those of you who can afford it, please dig deep and help us raise some money for a very good cause!
