The first hearing of the minuet theme presents an innocent, childlike quality. Following the somewhat menacing trio, the reprise of the minuet, though the notes are exactly the same, takes on a different tone, representing my friend's experience.

The oboe represents the Shofar. Written in dedication to Afrita.
