Meet illus1on/Pavol, a talented Techno Producer & DJ based in the UK, originally Slovakia.

Pavol’s passion for electronic music started at a young age, listening to the sounds of the underground club scene in his hometown of Poprad. His love for the raw energy and hypnotic rhythms of techno music only grew as he began experimenting with music production in his teenage years.

After moving to the UK Pavol bang honing his skills in his home studio, and began to share his music with the world releasing his tracks on various underground techno labels. His unique sound, which blends elements of classic techno with contemporary and darker European techno has been well received in the Uk’s underground scenes.

Pavol’s dedication to his craft and his unwavering commitment to the underground techno scene has opened new doors to the DJ and Producer communities allowing for more gigs, collaborations, and remixes.

Pavol explores new sounds for techno because he finds the idea generation and creative process the most fun part about being techno producer and DJ. He is very aware that Techno is always evolving, and the importance of staying current and relevant while also maintaining the essence of the music that he loves.

Furthermore, Pavol’s exploration of new sounds is also driven by his desire to challenge himself creatively and break new ground in the genre.

By taking risks and experimenting with unconventional sounds and production techniques, Pavol is able to expand the boundaries of techno and create music that is truly innovative and groundbreaking.

Pavol’s sound is distinctive for several reasons. First and foremost, he has a unique approach to blending the classic elements of Techno with contemporary European dark peak techno, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking. This fusion of styles gives his music a timeless quality that is both familiar and fresh at the same time.

Additionally, Pavol’s music often features intricate rhythms and complex layers of sound that create a hypnotic and immersive listening experience. He uses a variety of analog and digital synthesisers, drum machines, and other production tools to create a rich, textural sound that is unmistakably his own.

Another reason why Pavol’s sound is distinctive is that he is constantly experimenting with new sounds and production techniques, as I mentioned earlier. He is not afraid to take risks and push the boundaries of the genre, which allows him to create music that is truly innovative and unique.

Finally, Pavol’s music has a raw and authentic quality that is a hallmark of peak dark techno genre. His tracks often have a gritty, industrial edge that reflects his roots in the London Underground scene, and his DJ sets are characterised by their high-energy and infectious rhythms.

All of these factors combine to create a sound that is unmistakably Pavol’s, and that sets him apart from other techno producers and DJ, building his positive reputation in the UK’s underground scene

His new EP signed by Kevin Saunderson (KMS Records) marks a major step forward — not only creatively but in terms of international visibility. His previous releases, including ENTRY on Beatport, have hinted at this evolution — but Underground Tales EP is the boldest statement yet.

He Played in Amsterdam dance event, Ibiza (Cafe del Mar), London Underground parties  (la Divina Afterhours, Nothern Impact ),Republic Artist (boat party)  Poland and will many more coming ....

Tom Nox is a producer and DJ based in Strasbourg, France. He first fell in love with electronic music in the late '90s, captivated by the raw, untamed energy of underground techno. At just 16, he began exploring vinyl mixing and music production, gradually crafting a sound that m is uniquely his own.

His music is defined by a fusion of deep rhythms and acid-tinged tones, drawing on a wide range of influences. Tom Nox loves to create hypnotic and immersive soundscapes, where stripped-back rhythms make way for ethereal, melodic textures, inspired by the stars and worlds m yet uncovered.

He’s had the privilege of performing alongside global techno legends like Thomas Schumacher and Sterling Moss and regularly appears across France, Germany and Switzerland.

With fresh collaborations and several releases lined up, Tom Nox continues to push his ever-evolving sound, blending bold creativity with a timeless, stellar touch.

Acerbic is the new hard and acid techno alias from Ant Wilson, aka Chicago Loop. Ant started DJ’ing and producing back in the early to mid 1990’s and it was on London’s underground illegal rave scene where he first started making a name for himself. 

After many years of touring and making records within that scene, it was around the beginning of the 2010’s that he began to shift his focus slightly and started to concentrate on launching a new alias, Chicago Loop. This alias was created to better represent the slightly more mainstream and club based techno that Ant increasingly found himself playing at that time and as a result, successfully created a solid name for himself within those circles. And this is the way it has stayed to this day, with Chicago Loop taking up the majority of Ant’s creative studio output… until now! 

Poised to take on the acid and hard techno scene with full force, Acerbic is set to launch in 2023 with 2 heavy 4-track vinyl releases on Stay Up Forever’s sister acid label, ‘Acid Artists in Action’, as well as SUF’s flagship techno label, Cluster Records. Plus, there’s plenty more hard-hitting techno to come from Acerbic, marking Ant’s long-awaited return to the acid and hard techno family. Watch this space…

Since breaking into the scene in 2019 Hamaton3 has swiftly made an impact in the world of Techno.
His sound is innovative, exciting, and more importantly, full of groove. The music is driving, powerful and sometimes with a dark and sinister edge.
His breakthrough came in early 2021, on the back of releases on Urban Chaos Records, when his Us EP was picked up by Keep On Techno records. Knowing that they had found an original sounding new artist he was quickly asked to join their in-house team.
Their decision was rewarded as he quickly racked up several high selling originals and remixes for them. He remains a valued part of the team now and his music consistently charts highly on Beatport.
Not just a one label artist though he has seen his work picked up by labels like Refined Format, Dreizehn Schallplatten, PTR and Resilient Recordings to name a few. with other requests coming in thick and fast.
Also, the founder and owner of Techno Connects; A label that’s quickly growing respect for solid releases over the past year. Yet to release on his own imprint as its reserved as a home to showcase his favourite talents be it emerging or well developed. 
As a DJ you can find Hamaton3 various events across the UK and Ireland where he has been running parties under the Techno connects brand name as-well as joining friends at Collide and Hydraulix events n the past year.
With the world opening back up again, it won’t be long before we see him behind the decks at a host of Techno events. Hamaton3 is setting a new tone in Techno with a name that stands for reliability and quality!

Over the last 20 years i have held residencies at the world famous Sub Club in Glasgow, Mas, with Glasgow Disco King Billy Woods & various secret after-hours venues all over the city of Glasgow, particularly a certain one on Bridge Street, after a Pressure party, in olden times.

In Europe i have held a residency on the Electro Juice Boat in Bordeaux for 15 years and at the Wunderboat soiree's on Bordeaux's premier venue, The IBoat. 

My biggest influences are local legends Subculture, of Sub Club, Glasgow, where i've covered warm ups and closing slots for residents Harri and Domenic, my other main and equal influence is Slam, particularly during the Daft Punk years, me having ran their promo in the mid 90's and being part of their team that started and promoted the Pressure party in the late 90's.

Although i have also ran a lot of my own nights alongside managing the promotions team at the Sub Club for 10 years, it's the love and joy in performance that keeps bringing me back to being behind the turntables and playing records as a form of artistic expression.

Having lived in Den Haag Netherlands for some time, i am now back in Glasgow and available for bookings.
