I recommend that anyone learning to play the guitar listen to this piece over and over again, playing the Gm/B♭pentatonic scale in various ways, and trying to find a phrase that you like.

The volume adjustment during mixdown is optimized for the environment when using the earphones that come with the iPhone. If you feel that the volume of the guitar playing in this work is low, please use earphones and check the volume balance of this recording. It seems that earphones other than those that came with the iPhone do not have any problems. When using an Android device and when connecting an audio interface to a PC, I connected inexpensive earphones and confirmed that the guitar volume can be heard at a roughly appropriate balance.

There is another way. I have embedded a SoundCloud player on my blog to introduce my works, but I noticed that this work sounds harder (mid-high tones are clearer) than when played directly in the browser. "SI TOI AUSSI" est une chanson écrite en 2008 . Nous avons gardé la mélodie d'origine et j'ai réécris les deux derniers couplets .Sur les refrains une star de la chanson française sous son vrai nom m'accompagne au chant . Le thème est simple , des questionnements autobiographiques qui se superposent avec deux questionnements , un passé et un futur .
“SI TOI AUSSI” was written in 2008. We kept the original melody and I rewrote the last two verses, a french pop star with a  accompanying me on the chorus. The theme is simple: autobiographical questions superimposed on two questions, a past and a future.

“Falling In Love Forever” by Luke

Dusted off the trusty old Volca Drum machine to create the beat for this one. In years past I used it quite a lot, including on many of the early Smoking Trout tracks, but it had been a little while. I'm also continuing to experiment with longer stretches of guitar, and incorporated most of the synth arsenal on this one. This was kind of inspired by reading the news here in the US, a strange mixture of depressing and ridiculous weirdness haha.

This song is a collaboration with my good friend Mark who supplied the files to his super guitar-based rock song Bad Orange. I have remixed his track, taking his guitar riffs and tried to make something which retains the rock feel of the original but is pretty different as well. We are both happy with the result. Untitled Strange Love Song (Number 8)

Well hello. Here’s some rustic Mountain Blues, played on extremely oxidized guitar strings, with me hollering from the mountain top. Hahahaha. The song hints at a personal authenticity, and the experience of possibly unraveling any prior conditioning (Pavlovian or otherwise) that may constrict our lives in some way. It’s also about the different personas we portray to the outside world. How we may act at work, or on a first date, or with our spouse, or kids, friends, enemies, those who hurt us, even our stage personas comes into play…. So this song is asking a lot of us. In other news, right now in June, the mountains are snow covered and it froze last night. That is late spring, early summer here. Gardenwise, this year, I am planting a lot more Brassicas: Kale, Cabbage and Broccoli, and they are growing well. I am going to try to fence off the carrot/beet beds, as the voles always eat more carrots and beets than I ever do. Onions, leeks and garlic have been growing since March. I transplanted 50 lettuce plants I grew from seed that I saved from last year’s lettuce. The berry bushes and fruit trees have really blossomed this year. There are squash, cukes, tomato and pepper plants inside by the window, to be transplanted outside next week, quite a mess… all of which keeps me busy…. Hahaha.
