I'm working on lyrics for a future vocal remix.

A time ago I discovered the soundcloud page of multi-genre composer, guitarist, keyboard & bass player Neno and his other project/page, Danen II (covers and support). His music is deep emotional. He sent to me his "in the clouds"...

Conditions for fishing in the Baltic Sea have become progressively worse. This is certainly due to pollution of the sea and increasing industrial fishing. Many old professional fishermen have become unemployed.

A Small Town by the Sea

There is a small town - by the coast of the Baltic sea
The city sits so beautifully with
a horizon line that turns pastel when it’s frozen
the people in the town might be retired fishermen
since the number of fishes has declined

The town fell asleep - several years from the present time
the young folks moved to places where they can work
and they left their old parents in the sleepy old town all by themselfes
and most of the houses lapsed and lost all the paint
until rich folks from Stockholm did arrive


There must be a reason why rich folks wanna buy houses in this town
they saw the beauty of this city and where it lies
and they started to renovate and paint the whole town with lovely bright colors
and after a while most of the people in the town
thought that it’s great that the town will live again
