A lot has changed since we released Trapdoor Volume One over a year & a half ago, especially within electronic music. Although the Trapdoor blog was humbly built on the foundations of the loosely defined ‘Trap’ genre, Trapdoor Records was established to expand and nurture exciting music that can’t necessarily be bound by a genre tag. 150,000 + followers later & we are still spending countless hours listening to music from across the world as we ultimately want to promote a wider range of music inspired by one key characteristic; A desire to evolve.
