Devin Kroes has dedicated the last 15 years to refining his sonic craft, deeply immersing himself in the confluence of acoustic textures and electronic landscapes. His journey, rooted in the rich traditions of flamenco and jazz guitar, has expanded into the vast territories of bass music, from downtempo to dubstep, drum and bass, and beyond, all infused with his distinctive melodic flair.


     The dynamic spectrum of Devin's music has graced stages alongside luminaries such as Clozee, Mr. Bill, Duffrey, Resonant Language, and Koan Sound, bridging the divide between pulsating bass and intricate rhythmic patterns, and earning him accolades across the US and beyond.


     With releases celebrated on The Rust, Danktronics, and Street Ritual, Devin's sound has not only captivated audiences but also defined a unique niche within the electronic music community, marked by a blend of heartfelt guitar expressions and sophisticated electronic production. Devin Kroes continues to push the boundaries of auditory experience, solidifying his status among influential modern music creators.

Niche is the re-interpretation of the BushPilot project of Luke McMillan. After many years in hiatus his revisit to electronic music production was deemed worthy of a new paint job and thus the Niche project was born. Still drawing from the same original inspirations of intelligent Daytime Progressive, the many years away from music production encouraged Luke to delve further into his passion of music as whole, making subtle links and drawing inspirations from many musical palettes, in particular Rock and Metal. 

Niches music can be described as intricate and intelligent Daytime Progressive, with a touch of melody, a sizable chunk of atmosphere, a smidgen of dark influence altogether with a healthy amount of detail. 
Constantly fine tuning his attempt to integrate inspirations from vast musical backgrounds the following years look to be the best for this project.
