It is 'Aneto' that kicks off with a simple but seductive house groove combined with luscious chord stabs. Ray Mono steps in and brings us some bass driven, dubby goodness on the remix. Perfect for the intimate clubs, at peak time!
We couldn't imagine an EP by Nicolaou without some balearic flavour, and 'Colours' certainly delivers on that.
Things step up again with 'Rub a Dub'. Another peak time heater, which focuses on a relentless groove and dubby baseline.

In October 2023, I made some dub techno with my Korg Minilogue XD and Roland TR-8S. The Minilogue is providing the "dub" and the TR-8S is providing the "techno". 

The Minilogue is running through my pedalboard which includes a TC Electronic Afterglow Chorus, a Nemesis Delay Pedal, a Walrus Audio Lore, Keeley Caverns V2, and a Valeton Coral Verb II. Honestly it's probably overkill on the pedalboard, but it does sound good!

DJing and producing house and techno since 2018. HLSTRM brings a unique flavor to the dance floors with his hybrid DJ sets that
feature live drum machines and synthesizers. With a blend of fast
driving rhythms, 90s hip-hop samples, and atmospheric melodies, HLSTRM is sure to provide a hypnotizing experience.

In 2023, HLSTRM co-founded a collective for house, techno, and drum & bass fans called Echo Syndicate. The collective, spearheaded by HLSTRM and Utah-based DJs Nosco and Porteño, has been making waves throughout Idaho and Utah by hosting electrifying shows featuring local DJs and producers.
