The duo presents a sound design show-off consisting of raspy stretch algorithm artifacts, vocoded pulses and slimy granular flurries. Rhythmically, high impact overdriven kicks and syncopated motifs give the tracks a high energy urgency and momentum. Simmering, crusty chopped up break beats accompany stroboscopic pads, glistening metallic percussion and sweeping electro-acoustic gestures. Maneuvering naturally between almost snapping, bursting, fragmenting passages, effervescent glistening chords sometimes emerge, ready to get whacked by mangled, contorted drum machine outbursts.

"Memory Music" is the debut EP from Danish composer and sound artist David Engelbrecht, aka Dudde, coming out in full on April 24th on katharsis. Crafted over several years through the careful gathering and processing of sonic fragments, the release captures the emotional weight and wonder of sound as memory. Each track is a small time machine, inviting listeners to drift between past and present - those moments when a single sound unlocks a flood of forgotten feelings, places, and people.

Moving seamlessly between ambient textures and sharp, high-paced drum patterns, Memory Music balances clarity and chaos with a sense of play. Breakbeats collide with nostalgic synth lines, melodic motifs shimmer alongside digital shadows, and echoes of vintage videogames flicker in and out like ghosts. It’s music that remembers and reimagines all at once - where fragments of the past become blueprints for the future.

Petals of Nehan unfolds as a sonic journey where powerful and unpredictable movements of sound intertwine with cultural influences and personal sensibilities. Each track shifts in form at times intense, at others restrained yet quietly imbued with an inner strength evoking petals drifting with intention. Through these evolving textures, the EP explores the power of music to bridge the inner and outer worlds.

In the collaborative track “Forsaken Voices” with xato, a flowing current of sound emerges from the merging of sensibilities, leading to a deeper musical exploration.

The EP also features remixes by Sweden-based duo Quit Life, France-based artist Ytem, and Austria-based Kenji Araki. Their contributions bring distinct perspectives shaped by their diverse cultural backgrounds, expanding the sonic landscape of the release.

W.ANNA.W is a Japan based artist, vocalist, and producer who weaves ambient, experimental, and organic sounds into intimate yet expansive sonic landscapes. Her music transcends genre boundaries, evolving freely with quiet, expressive depth. Through her work, she invites listeners into a reflective, introspective dialogue a space to pause, listen, and feel.

‘S.L.F. Versions’ – a set of cutting-edge radical reworks from Aïsha Devi’s widely-praised EP ‘S.L.F.’

Hotly-tipped Chinese scene stalwart 33EMYBW delivers a thunderous percussion-heavy take on ‘Two Serpents’, and rising Indonesian duo Gabber Modus Operandi overhaul ‘Uupar Theory’ with pummelling kick drums encircling frenzied, swirling synths.

Nordic maverick Varg adds jungle breaks and pitched-down crunch to Devi’s pitched-up ethereal voice, whilst lauded JA collective Equiknoxx Music‘s vibey avant-dancehall version gives shout-outs to Devi from vocalists Gavsborg and Shanique Marie.

In addition to acclaim gained for ’S.L.F.’, over the summer Devi toured extensively, performing at some of the world’s most prestigious and forward-thinking events. At Dark Mofo x Atonal in Hobart, Australia she premiered her new AV show ‘∞E=TRv’ – an innovative collaboration with visual artist MFO using light in space and reflective surfaces. 

Centred around Devi’s transcendence/continuum energy formula and inspired by Planck’s Constant in physics, these special shows have wowed and inspired, as have AV events staged with Emile Barret, and Devi’s solo shows - where audio takes centre stage.
