This is Part 2 of my Mystery of the Motherbeat series of DJ mixes. I’ve wanted to record this mix for a long time as a follow-up to my 2018 mix by the same name. Both are a fusion of styles used to build a psychedelic hypnotic soundscape for deep listening and personal synchronization with the heart of Motherbeat. No big hands in the air moments to speak of here, just deep mixing and some of the most beautiful records in my collection. One record to highlight in your collection : 
Mark Kamins presents Koshin Stash - Say You Love Me [Roppongi Music]. 
Pure bliss of a track, so well produced and mixed for 1990, still very modern sounding–Japanese do it better when it comes to quality mixed house tracks. 

One label to highlight : 
If you want a sure-thing kinda label for darker, progressive house goodness go for: Tribal America founded by Rob Di Stefano. Lots of great stuff on there and 9/10 playable tracks.

One club/party to highlight : 
I would have to say Gloria at Macadam, no other clubs have come close to the vibes during those parties and the music curations and sound-system are always top notch, big props to the whole team there. 

One track to highlight in the mix : 
Patrick Juvet featuring Amnesia - Deep Dark Night (Deep Dark Trance Mix)
When the genre repeats itself in the title and the braquet, you know it’s gotta be good, haha! Honestly, this track was a total wild card I picked up at a record shop in Bordeaux called Gimme Sound. I mean, Patrick Juvet—a notoriously cheesy French singer—teaming up with Amnesia? I was shocked! Most people would’ve thought, ‘No way, this is bound to be terrible. But here’s a perfect example of “Don’t judge a vinyl by its cover”.

One sentence about the mix : 
If you were being hunted by aliens, sprinting through an icy, damp cave with Sonic the hedgehog by your side, only to find the exit as the aliens get crushed by falling rocks, and you leap out in slow motion to freedom—this mix would be your soundtrack.

For this week's episode, we have on Seattle-based selector Interwave Surfer to be your guide through the turbulent, and windy weather that the Pacific Northwest is famed for. 

Interwave Surfer is the co-founder of Restless Planet, exploring deep, celestial, and ethereal shades of house and techno, all of which are extremely apparent in this mix. Skillfully gliding between house, deep tech, breaks and acid, Interwave Surfer's commitment to the underground sound is prevalent from start to finish. 

The mix has a deep and euphoric feel to it; perfect for anytime of the day, and is a testament to the dedication and work put in to crafting this set. Extremely groovy, deep, squelchy, reflective all  packed into one power hour here for your listening pleasure.
