Adrian More is an exciting and enigmatic Producer based in Milwaukee USA. 

Adrian's musical roots span from Chicago House to UK Garage, it wasn't until recently that he decided to explore higher bpm genres which bring a special type of energy to dance floors. 

This particular EP is an ode from Adrian to UK rave culture as he intertwines & combines rhythmic melodies & soulful vocals, all made to emulate that 90's feel.

MINX series is back today with a stellar dub-infused mix from Isabel Farrington aka Jezebel. Jezebel is a Dublin based Dj currently in Trinity College and working as a nightlife photographer. Shooting at gigs has given Jezebel exposure to music which has helped her to curate her own personal sound and allowed her to meet a lot of friends who have encouraged her in her beginning to DJ. 

Although based in Dublin time frequented in the UK and Spain has influenced her sound and she hopes to reflect this in this mix. Expect some deeply dug dubstep, garage, bass, drums, reggaeton and speed dembow!

Chrissy returns to Dansu Discs by way of ’The Other Side’ EP, complete with remix from Manchester based imprint regular Yosh.

The EP opens with it’s title track ’The Other Side’. A heavy dose of nostalgia characterises the record with elements of early hardcore, piano house & breakbeat littered throughout the four and half minute euphoric, peak time trip. Next up from the San Francisco based producer is ’The Only One’. Again Chrissy employs samples and elements of foundational strands of dance music, this time with a more heads down, acid tinged vibe.

Yosh closes out the three tracker by adding a distinctly UK flavour to ’The Other Side’. Watch ya bass bins!

If "Trax From The Back Of The Sofa" was intended to be an unleashing of the sounds of a Strange Riddims party, Vol II is a parable of the 24 hours from the doors opening, dismantling the dancefloor, and a convoy of taxis to some unfortunate volunteer's house. 

Hewn from the quarry of dubs, edits, bootlegs and originals behind the Strange doors, TFTBOTSVOL2 erratically flits between bombastic club material and candid artefacts of the after-hours sessions over the past 4 years. The compilation expands on its prequel not only in volume and breadth of sound, but also in its pervasion of the personality and atmosphere of the Strange Riddims extended family. 

Special thanks as always to all Strange ravers, the straight thru crew, and anybody outside of Manchester who has shown love, bought a track or two or turned somebody on to what we're doing. Don't be a stranger.
