Either when holding the bar for over a decade at Soundwall - one of the reference webzines for the Italian electronic music landscape, working as artistic director for the Roman party RNY or during his two-decade long digging journey, Matteo Cavicchia's life has always been guided by music and the desire to explore and absorb as many artistic stimuli as possible.
Basically Ugly Covers was born in 2023 as an ode to the bad taste for record covers' artworks from back in the day, the surface under which some of the most underrated and funniest gems of (not only) dance music are uncovered.

«I don’t really love to focus on a specific genre when I record my mixtapes. I prefer letting the different elements of the tracks I love take control of my flow and create an organic musical journey.
Hot from the press: you can get some vocals, basslines and melodies that have been inspiring me and shaking me the most lately. Much of that influence comes from Pizza Club, a brand-new radioshow alongside old-time partner Kapsalon. Enjoy!»

Tiella Sound is the reflection of Luca Bigote’s "fluid" music vision, where genres blend and boundaries fade away. Launched in 2019, the project encompasses a radio show, mix series and independent record label.

Luca Bigote is an Italian DJ and music curator with wide tastes across the music spectrum.
His sets are immersive journeys blending rarefied Soft Electronica, floating Downtempo beats, warm Organic Grooves and a rich array of House and Techno nuances. This versatile approach has led him to share  stages with influential artists such as Tornado Wallace, Fantastic Man, Tiger & Woods, Rahaan, and Patrice Scott among others. Remarkably, he delivered a highly acclaimed six-hour set at Buttons party in Berlin, one of the most iconic events within  the city’s LGBTQ+ nightlife scene.
Over the years, he has been invited to contribute to many radios and podcast channels from all over the world, including United We Stream (DE), HÖR (DE), Kiosk Radio (BE), Radio Raheem (IT), Rocket Radio (IT), Radio Panini (DK), Rhythmic Culture (NL), Amok Radio (MK) to name a few.
Since 2020, he has also been crafting ambient introspective soundscapes under his experimental alias, Nostalgia Del Futuro, expression of his interest for non-club oriented music.
In the past, he curated the ‘ritmo’ nights at Klunkerkranich in Berlin, hosted ‘FMUD’ summer parties in his hometown Gaeta (IT), and collaborated with renowned record stores such as OYE Records and Sound Metaphors.

Volar aka Paradaxoid, a man who's always in the mix. He has been in love with music ever since he was a child. In 2008 he started to collect and listen to electronic music. In 2016 he began to impact the DJ world by getting regular gigs at Studio Club and Tol'kotechno events.

Volar has crafted his own signature sound and has earned himself the respect of some music lovers on the global underground scene. Nowadays Volar is a part of dj's collective LACONISM.

Volar uses quality sounds and adventurous melodies from his vinyl and digital collection to create a very special musical journey in his sets.

DER, co-founder of the Karnak On Acid record label and party series, has passionately curated his collection for over a decade. Presenting a refined selection of diverse house and minimal records, the Italian Born  and Roma  based DJ, delights in blending genres and creating an intriguing tension to connect with the audience. His approach to DJing transcends the selection, placing equal importance on the art of how it is played.
