From The Start is a fun tune I wrote and produced about staying true to myself and not moving too far from my roots. Let me tell you about it!

Exobolt has some of my most creative releases under their belt like Flare, Lightyear, Radiclaw and (almost) Revolve. Whenever I think of these older tracks, I get a really good feeling inside since they were made from a pure love of music and nothing else. Recently taking my music more seriously, I feel inclined all the time to change my style for labels and engagement. This song is about doing the opposite! From the micro-plucky intro, to the 8bit chorus and melodic-y, colour bass-y, saw stack-y drop; I just made what I wanted for myself and shifted my production mentality back from the start. 

I hope you all enjoy and definitely check out the Exobolt 008 compilation! It has so many amazing tunes from my friends with an amazing team behind it! Reminds me of an older EDM era where music was focused on being purely innovative, lighthearted and fun that I think you'll definitely enjoy if you liked this one.

After a show in Dallas in March 2022, a fan approached me and suggested a collaboration with Daeya (DDD at the time). I was familiar with their work but had never actually thought about writing music with them… now it feels so obvious that this collab just NEEDED to exist. If you're reading this, thanks fan!!!

We started this tune back in April 2022, when I was fresh off the hype of a full 2D Metroid playthrough. Specifically the buildup of this tune is inspired by the glitchy techy soundtracks from the series. This is one of the few tracks I’ve ever made that STEMMED from a buildup!

We're both eternally grateful for the support from Tokyo Machine, letting us put this tune out on their CHOMPO imprint! We're both massive fans of his work and what the label has put out over the years.

This album came together late at night. Headphones on, city quiet, screens glowing.
It’s built around that feeling of being awake when everything else feels offline.

Lives in the space between cinematic cyberpunk and underground bass music .... gritty drums, distorted synths, glitchy transitions, and heavy low end meant for night drives, gaming sessions, and headphones-only listening. A lot of the tracks feel like scenes instead of songs. Short moments, long builds, drops that hit without warning.

There’s influence from hybrid trap, Y2K bass, dark EDM, and industrial textures, but nothing here is meant to sound clean or polished. The glitches stay. The noise stays. That’s the point.

If you’re into cyberpunk visuals, night drive playlists, dark bass music, underground EDM, or cinematic electronic tracks, this album fits that lane. It’s not festival music. It’s not background music. It’s for people who like their sound a little rough and their atmosphere heavy.
