Gabriel Le Mar is a music producer releasing electronic music with a special focus on deep sounds with a Dub mindset.

Dub is clearly a major source of inspiration that unites all his releases and finds expression in the form of hybrid dub-infected electronic dance and listening music.

Gabriel has been into Dub Electronica for decades with his project Saafi Brothers and many inspiring albums have reached like-minded listeners. Intense moments of collaboration can be found on the Saafi Brothers albums, creating atmospheres in their very own way.

Always in a search for fresh musical experiences, Gabriel Le Mar likes to integrate himself in different artistic constellations with PsyTechProject or Dublocation as well as with the artistic collaboration with Dr. Motte.

With Aural Float, Gabriel Le Mar composed atmospheric electronic sounds and also worked with the project on audiovisual concepts. The electronic SpaceNight series can be traced back to Aural Float: a TV format broadcast nightly on BR that captivated an entire generation of clubbers in front of their TV sets with space footage and ambient music.

Torture the Artist - your source for contemporary electronic music

Torture the Artist is a webzine, or a magazine made for the internet, geared towards those with a passion for contemporary electronic music, with subgenres including Techno, Tech House, Deep House and Eletronica, as well as a small amount of Indie and Alternative. Founded in 2014 by Holger Breuer, a German native and lover of the arts, Torture the Artist now consists of five team members from all around the world.

In addition to publishing interviews, music reviews, DJ charts and track premieres, the webzine hosts out a  podcast series called 'art:casts'. This medium gives DJs and producers the artistic freedom to highlight their different musical styles while not being restricted by factors such as setting, and connecting them to a wider audience. 

Being in its ninth year, Torture the Artist has gained a strong and active online support group, including music enthusiasts to label managers and artists themselves, creating a cohesive community with music as their bond.

Sascha Lebemann is one of the most exciting electronic music artists from the Rhein Main area. Colleagues describe him as a visionary with a special view of the scene. Since 2008 he has been turning the Frankfurt club culture upside down and shared the stage with acts like Luciano, Monika Kruse, Charlotte de Witte, DJ Rush, Magda or Matthias Tanzmann. A 3-year residency in the legendary U60311 (2009-2011) was followed by a change to Tanzhaus West, to the cult techno series “MOVE” (2011-2014). Right from the start (in 2010), Sascha has been part of Stadt, Land, Bass - the popular Open Air Festival of the Hotel Digital Crew, which together with the “Katermukke Night” in Tanzhaus West also host the most successful club event in town. With 3 vinyl releases, various licensing of his tracks, whether digital or on CD and his own Label Audiothentica, Sascha has also set himself a musical monument parallel to his live shows as a DJ. Driving, minimalistic and with a huge dose of groove - the bon vivant from Frankfurt played hundreds of gigs, moved countless people from all over the world and supported many other artists on their way.
