I play a few instruments and sing. Into zen, permaculture, veganism, anarchy. Doing my best to be a good dad for my daughter, leaving less time for art.

Jay Olivine is Ziggy Stardust’s fourth favourite lyricist in Northeast Brisbane. 

He is a hitless wonder who scratches out demos in a dark booth beneath his kitchen. 

Sometimes he adds distortion to cover the snores of his dog. Sometimes he gets away with an acoustic number. 

His dream (not his dog’s dream) would be to license his lyrics to someone who would take them somewhere beautiful. He keeps dreaming. 

Olivine is a common green rock. Jay Olivine is not.

Igor Iofe is a
composer whose musical
paths lead to diverse stylistic destinations. Currently Igor's focus in music is Armenian traditional duduk repertoire which he performs on trumpet. He brings the beauty and warmth of the duduk into his trumpet playing.

At the Conservatorium van Amsterdam he studied with  Wim Hendrickx,Richard Ayres,  Fabio Nieder,Willem Jeths and Jorrit Tamminga. Igor attended masterclasses with Misato Mochizuki, Dmitry Kourliandski, Tristan Murail andTan Dun. His music was performed at the Composers’ Festival Amsterdam (2012 and 2013), Atlas Academy (2010-12),  Looptail XXX and at such venues as De Link, De Duif, Het Bethaniënklooster, Het Veem, STEIM, Muziekgebouw aan 't Ij and CvA in Amsterdam and other cities of the Netherlands. His piece Y+Ywas performed by the Joint Venture Percussion Duo at several venues in the USA and Europe.

Parallel to his Classical Composition studies Igor studied Composing Music for Film with Jurre Haanstra and graduated as a Master in Composing for FIlm at the CvA. During his studies he wrote music for several movies which were shown at the Beeldbuis Filmfestival, Keep an Eye Film Festival, VERS Awards, Cinekid Filmfestival, M2M Filmfestival and Pleinbioscoop Rotterdam.

Hey, my name is Markus. In the past I've made Metal, Punk and Heavy Rock with my friends in my garage. I played the bass guitar and sometimes vocals. But that was way back (in the 90s). Now I produce my own songs at home and upload them. The music styles are from Metal, Punk, Rock to House and Dance, just everything I like. Any physical manifestation underlies the movement. The existence of music, a favorite field of my personal research, underlies the movement.  Starting from the assumption that art forms always interpenetrate, and even complement each other when they border and cross over into apparently remote areas, I have strongly dedicated myself to investigating the inextricable relationship between music and movement.  To do this, I create installations, videos and digital interactive works that reveal relationships between objects that belong to different systems. I try to make the invisible visible, as someone said.

Pianist, composer, artist living in Paris
Fond of blending classic chords and electro sounds

As far as he can remember, as a child, 8'Souls hummed tunes all the time
Encouraged by his parents, he started playing the piano at six
Three years later, he suspended, fed up with academic teaching, and restarted as a teenager, from scratch
At that time, passionate about piano classical music and rapidly catching up, he discovered himself a foretaste of composition
In the early 2000's, he discovers computer-assisted music
In love with infinite possibilities, he's been pulled into sleepless nights until he had released a first album "Ambiology" in 2004
Even if some famous labels commented "not bad !", his poor amateur experience, at this time, is not convincing enough
His two twin children were born few months later, interrupting creative activities for years
In 2014, as a leisure, he came back to computer-assisted music and released a new song "Soul Transit"
"Soul Transit" song has been his wake-up call for two years until the day his familly asked him who was the artist playing this pleasant song
In 2018, he released a new album "Soul Transit", gave up his previous artist name to became " 8'Souls " in 2020
