Argentina boasts more DJ's & Artists than you can imagine, ranging from global iconic superstars, to the artists that make the music for them.

Fuelled by huge crowds and a seemingly unquenchable desire for the worlds best DJs to play at huge capacity venues, Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Cordoba and the country in general is often lauded as THE clubbing destination to be seen and play in.

This week were headed for love in London! Home to a multi talented heroine of house music, our act today has made music her life and passion. Singer/Songwriter, Producer, Performing Arts and DJ! We are delighted to have secured her services, give it up for Ann LoV

Ann LoV is a London based techno producer DJ and singer. Her primary focus are poignant melodies as demonstrated in her track selection, and forthcoming productions. Ann has a strong background in vocals and has released under the names 'Ann Browne' & 'Ann - Jattu' on Synchronized Music, DP-6 Records and Tall House Digital. 

Ann developed a passion and deep love for music early on in life. At the age of 9 she began to write her own songs and learnt to craft harmonies by experimenting with recording her voice using tape recorders and layering her vocals to see how they’d sound. In 1999 Ann decided to take a deeper dive into music and went on to study performing arts, during which time she spent much of her evenings in the music block learning production and writing her EP — a collection of Pop, R&B, and Ambient music. Off the back of her creations, she took part in a number of local festivals and showcases and later joined a Hip Hop collective where she continued to develop her vocals and song writing skills. Then in 2001 she had her first release on a gospel record label, which led to her joining a band where she continued to tour nationally and internationally as well as provide vocals for studio and live sessions.

It was in 2009 that her musical career pivoted towards electronic music, and at that point she began reaching out to music producers in the genre. This led to her creating a vocal sample pack with Lee Howe, house releases with Jake Cusack and Paul Parsons, EDM with K-System, and trance releases with Beatsole and Emrah Barut.

In a bid to further immerse herself in the electronic music world she had grown so fond of, she began to form connections with music lovers, organised club nights with UK Trance Society, managed a number of meetups, and attended myriad music events.

By 2016 Ann had started to miss the live element of music and wanted to perform electronic music live which led to the birth of “Anencee". Performing live once again and delving back into the world of music creation inspired her to make the decision to return to music production as a solo artist, it was then that she added the art of DJing to her repertoire. 
 
In 2019 Ann secured a DJ residency at the illustrious Saturo Sounds Radio, she shortly after appeared as a guest on Christian Monique's  'Seventeen' show [Frisky Radio] and also Erich Von Kollar's show 'Relations' [Proton Radio)] under her former name 'With LoV'. 
 
In December 2020 'Paradox' was released on Saturo Sounds - this was her first international solo release as a producer.  
 
Passionate about fairness for music creators, she continues to develop her knowledge in the realm of music business with a view to set up her own label, release music and perform her productions live - this is her motivation, her dream, her drive, her focus. ENJOY THE MIX!

PFG The Progcast - Episode 64 - Ann LoV

Hello everyone and welcome onboard our Exclusive Weekly Progcast, delivering only the tastiest cuts and finest fillets from around the world of Planet Prog!

Today our journeys see us head north and over the border, back to Scotland. A popular stop over on our whistle stop tour, this is PFG's 4th visit here, and much like the others we've discovered another hidden gem for your listening pleasure. Martin Sloan AKA (The Big Easy) is one of AATM founding members & also one of the longest serving DJ’s on this ever growing station. You can catch him playing marathon 10 hour shows most weekends alongside the cream of Scotlands DJ talent. Although only DJ'ing for a couple of years, Martin's rise has taken his (and anyone whose heard him play)breath away. This summer see's him make his debut for the well known MITA (Music Is The Answer)where he'll be putting those skills acquired through listening to Pappa, Sasha and Warren, to good use.

 At MITA,  he's scheduled to DJ along side the world renowned Guy J, Guy Mantzur and DJ Ruby no less. As well as that this year see’s gigs in Amsterdam, Ibiza and more in his beloved Scotland. PFG The Progcast - Episode 65 - Martin Sloan

Hello Everyone, time for another transatlantic trip for your senses. Hop aboard for another Exclusive PFG Progcast, our weekly trip around Planet Prog!

We are half way round the world in no time at all, making a much needed return to India. So impressed were we on our previous adventures, PFG are back for more, in the first of two trips to this beautiful continent. 

Todays artist is in the form of his life right now, and its with huge relief that we  had him booked in for some time! Ladies & Gents, Give it up for Weird Sounding Dude!

Weird Sounding Dude is a Bangalore based music producer/DJ. He has always enjoyed a place in the underground dance music culture. His trademark chuggy grooves and squelchy rhythms are sure to satisfy his audience but there are always a few surprises along the way.

As it happens with a lot of artists, only DJ’ing wasn’t enough for his musical expedition, so he embarked on a journey to prove his worth as a self-taught producer. Drawing his influences from the likes of James Holden, Extrawelt, Nathan Flake, and Worakls. Being a regular on the charts of Beatport, his music has gained continuous support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Cid Inc., Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Guy J, Nick Muir, and many more.

He has already made a mark in the underground circuit with releases on Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Kindisch, Plattenbank, Perspectives Digital, onedotsixtwo, Juicebox Music, Eat My Hat Music, Balkan Connection, 3rd Avenue, Tarnished Tracks, If You Wait Music, Strangers Beats, Strange Town Recordings, Stripped Recordings among many others. Well-known blogs Progressive Astronaut, Change Underground, Underground Tel-Aviv, When We Dip, Nie Wieder Schlafen, Melodic Deep Bespoke Music, Husa Sounds have shown regular interest in his tracks.

He has also made a mark on the DJ circuit by performing at music festivals like Sunburn, R.E.S.E.T., La Foresta (Sri Lanka), Ctrl Alt Dance, Krank, Locals District. 
He’s had the privilege to perform alongside the likes of Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger, Stan Kolev, Jimpster, Vaal, Dauwd, BOg, Ziger, Navar, Kastis Torrau. He was also nominated under the Techno category for MyFav Awards (2014-15).

PFG The Progcast - Episode 66 - Weird Sounding Dude

Hello Everyone, its time for another Exclusive PFG Progcast! Join us on our journeys around Planet Prog, searching for serious sonic sounds!

We take a trip over the Laccadive Sea today, as we head south and back to Colombo in Sri Lanka. On our last visit we were treated to a gem of a mix, and this week's return is no different. Pioneering a new wave of Underground DJ's and Artists, PFG are proud to present Shanil Alox!

Born in Colombo, Shanil Alox’s musical journey began at a very young age. His interest in music and production prompted him to learn deeper and find new genres, which resulted in the birth of his career as a young producer and DJ.
His talent and enthusiasm towards music soon began mesmerising crowds, where he gained popularity with his energetic performances across the island at many clubs, festivals and parties. His modern techniques in music inspired immense motivation in people to connect to music, aiming to take them on an emotional journey spreading positive energy throughout the community.

It was in the year 2014 that Shanil began his profession in music production,  since then he has progressively improved in music production through exploration of knowledge and mastering latest technology. His music is well known to captivate listeners who attend his performances.

He has also played gigs alongside George Privatti, Luigi Rocca, Matt Sassari, Kastis Torrau and Matan Caspi, and has collaborated and performed with renowned organisations around the island.

Shanil is a self-motivated, professional musician who endures to attempt in order to keep growing as a dynamic artist, while simultaneously expending great efforts to develop a unique style of Sri Lankan electronic music platform by incorporating tradition and his creativity. He intends to spread positive energy, peace and calmness to admirers of various genres of music.

He is one of the biggest exponents of the Progressive House music scene in his homeland, and it is without doubt a massive honour for us to have him aboard. Ladies & Gents... Alex Efe!

The global electronic scene has generated a generation of Artists with identity, Alex Efe is in that category. He is a DJ/Producer in constant growth and always consolidating his recognition. His musical influences within Rock, Synth Pop & Wave have led him to create a characteristic sound, in addition to transmitting this sound in every session he plays. Its his experience and musical knowledge which the dance floor also appreciates. Part of our remit at PFG is to find that next generation of talent, those DJ's that just need a little push to help them on the way, and as someone who has been in that position, it is extremely important to me. Lucas Ariel Gómez is an Argentine DJ and producer born in the southern area of ​​Lomas de Zamora (Province of Buenos Aires). His enthusiasm for music was first born at a young age listening to music with his family, from national rock and international rock. 

His passion for electronic music began to emerge when he was 12 years old when he was given the 'Clubland'  compilation album by Hernan Cattaneo. From that moment he wanted to fully learn how to be a DJ, a career move further solidified when he was given his first mixer at 15 years old. Since then, Lucas has experimented with different forms of electronic music, until he happened upon his favourites, Progressive, Deep, Melodic House & Techno.

Hello everyone and welcome to the Il Modo Progcast! This is our weekly wander around our wicked world of Progressive house music, and we would love for you to join us, in search of those exclusive beats!! 

It's a regular journey down to Argentina this week, a country where we've clocked up the most air miles travelling to!  Heading into Rosario, and a DJ in top form right now, with countless gigs and nights under her belt, and some choice ones also on the horizon. We are super proud to present the brilliant DJ Alma (AR)

Maria Pedraza aka ALMA(AR) is a DJ/Producer from Rosario in Argentina. ALMA's work captures the crowd's attention with an avant-garde style in her mixes, combining Progressive, Deep and Melodic house, and a characteristic groove in her productions. Her signature style fuses hypnotic melodies to Afro-Cuban percussions, creating tracks such as 'Absence of Light' released on Shine.

Her music has seen life on labels such as La Cura de la Semana, Droid9, Shine Music Label & Nube Music, consistently hitting high positions in charts with support from the masters like Alejo Gonzalez, Nick Muir & Hernan Cattaneo.

Hola a Todos!  Behind the decks today another exclusive set from a newer name, a name you all need to take note of ... Déjala por Alejo Gonzales !!

Alejo Gonzalez was born in the city of Santa Fe, Argentina. He began his career through his particular interest in electronic styles in 1992, stepping into the local scene when he was only 12 years old, taking his first steps into the world of DJ's and electronic music. 

Strongly influenced by artists such as Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Martin Garcia & Hernan Cattaneo, among others, Alejo belongs to the new generation of DJ's that are currently conquering the decks of clubs in Argentina. He and others are therefore gaining an important role in the line-ups of in-country festivals and events.

Alejo's DJ sets manage to form their own style, within the many styles and nuances of Progressive House music. Its a style he has nurtured from the beginning, while sharing the decks with the likes of Hernan, Sasha, Nick Warren, Paul Oakenfold, Cid Inc, Guy Mantzur, Above & Beyond, Jeremy Olander and many many more. 

Most notably Alejo opened up for Elke Kleijn on both dates of his recent Argentina tour, selling out both La Isla in Santa Fe, and MetroDance BA on New Years Day. 

While also cultivating his style, Alejo has released music on labels like The Soundgarden, and John Digweed's Bedrock Records.

As this progress continues, so does the attention that goes with it, and we're sure you'll be hearing a lot more of Alejo's sounds in the near future.

Two brothers, one feeling: Music Lovers!

Manuel and Tomas Brousse are better known as Le Brousse, a DJ act/Musical duo hailing from Chivilcoy, Buenos Aires.

Their live sets and style are characterised by their versatile musical selection and identified by a wide variety of musical genres, mainly Progressive House, Funky Progressive, Deep House, Deep Techno and Deep Minimal. A DJ mix from them is based on cool sounds, groove, depth, rhythm and simple melodies, always creating the right vibes and energies to convey a deep and spiritual trip.

Le Brousse's main artistic reference and musical inspiration comes from the great DJ and Producer Ricky Ryan, with further influences from Guy J, Danny Howells, Luke Fair, amongst others.

Le Brousse have shared the DJ booth with some of the better artists in our scene, such as Ricky Ryan, Newman (I Love), Kevin Di Serna, Paul Deep, Facundo Mohr, Ezequiel Arias, Emi Galvan, Maxi Degrassi, Sebastian Busto, just to name a few.

The brother's have also taken their sound to well known events, parties and clubs in their local scene like The Bow, Crobar, Savage, Desert In Me, Flama, Afrik-La Juanita, Hyde and more.

Hola a Todos! Welcome back to the final chapter of our month long tour of Argentina and some of her amazing DJ's & artists, we hope you've enjoyed it as much as we have, listening into names you may or may not know, but need to know now! 

Returning to the hallowed turntables for a second visit, todays DJ has seen his star rise rapidly in the 8 months since his first mix. With releases on major labels and big nights added to his CV, it's a pleasure to welcome back ....El enormemente talentoso Lucas Gomez!

Lucas Ariel Gómez is an Argentine DJ and producer born in the southern area of ​​Lomas de Zamora (Province of Buenos Aires). His enthusiasm for music was first born at a young age listening to music with his family, from national rock and international rock.

His passion for electronic music began to emerge when he was 12 years old when he was given the 'Clubland' compilation album by Hernan Cattaneo. From that moment he wanted to fully learn how to be a DJ, a career move further solidified when he was given his first mixer at 15 years old. 

Since then, Lucas has experimented with different forms of electronic music, until he happened upon his favourites, Progressive, Deep, Melodic House & Techno. 

In the 8 months since his last mix for PFG, Lucas has now found new home's for his brand of progressive music, be sure to check them on 3rd Avenue, and AH Digital. Additionally, Lucas has added several large clubbing nights to his increasingly busy schedule, be sure to check his socials to when you can catch him next! 

It is with great pleasure I can also reveal that Lucas has, in the last week, become manager of South America Avenue, a sub-label of Sound Avenue (Madloch) which focuses on DJs and artists from South America, new and established .... just like this months mixes xx

We begin with a well known figure of this scene, prolific in his output which is always top class... Haz ruido por Juan Ibañez!

Juan is a DJ, Producer and Remixer, born in La Rioja, Argentina who started his musical career in 2009. After experimenting with different styles of music for a while, in 2016 he started his career as a DJ.

Mixing styles such as Deep House, Organic House, Progressive House and Melodic Techno, Juan establishes a sound with a particularly progressive creative point. Behind the decks his energetic emotional melodies are accompanied by a magnificent groove that delivers a wonderful response from the crowds he plays to.

Juan is currently signed to our scene's more memorable labels, like The Soundgarden, Freegrant Music, Balkan Connection, Or Two Strangers, OneDotsixtwo, Clubsonica, and Droid9, among others.

His music travels the world, receiving support from top-level artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Miss Monique, D-Nox, DJ Ruby, Sebastien Léger, Nick Varon among others; This recognition also leads him to play at international events such as Virtual Burning Man 2020 & 21, and big stages in different countries such as Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Islamabad, and Mexico.

We bid a fond farewell to South American shores and a successful tour of Argentina under our wings, flying you first class north to East Coast USA. Our artist today has an extensive background in the scene here, having been involved for the last 20 years. Now a resident at Fader Events, 2023 looks a whole lot brighter too. Ben Gingras is an American house and techno DJ who has been a deep rooted member of the dance music and rave scene for 25 years. He’s a newly minted resident for Fader Events, following a breakout live PA in support of Rodriguez Jr. & Liset Alea recently, and also headlining the closing party of St. Petersburg’s Movement Sanctuary. 

Ben is a lifelong musician, beginning in his early childhood playing upright bass in his school orchestra.  He comes from a musical family, which is often heard in his productions as piano or saxophone  elements, instruments played by his parents.  

His DJ sets are known for their intricate programming, and long mixes.  A callout to his insatiable appetite for music history and knowledge which has resulted in a deep catalog of ‘crate diggers’ that pair perfectly with modern cuts.  Ben has respected and admired the ability of music to move people, collectively, through shared positive experiences since he was a child, a gift he hopes to give back through his music. The Progcast - Episode 168 - Groove Formula (US)

G'Day and welcome everyone, this is the IL MODO Podcast. Each week we take you on a tour of Planet Progressive, searching for the most exclusive beats and grooves we can lay our hands on. 

Today we are back in Australia, and the home of an ex-pat bringing the noise to his new setting. Manchester is still in the area though, so check out this exclusive set from Marcus Graham!

As a kid from the UK growing up in 1980s Manchester, Marcus was privileged to live through the Factory Records era and enjoy the booming music scene, reshaping the city’s image from ‘dirty old town’ to the global mecca of nightlife and creativity it is today. While the warehouse and club scene  began to bubble away, Marcus spent his early teens listening to mixtapes from the likes of Sasha (who began his career in Manchester) the DJs of the Thunderdome and Hippos (Jay and Moggy) and the legendary 808 State Show - at the age of 16 Marcus got an invite to the Sunset studios, and was asked to play a live  guest mix on the show, then shortly after he was booked to play his first club gig in the city, warming up at Parliament Nightclub.

He spent many years clubbing and DJ'ing around Manchester and the City Centre, developing his style, and taking influences from the DJs of the Hacienda, Bugged Out and Tangled. He soon became hooked on the Progressive House scene led by Sasha, John Digweed, Renaissance, Cream and the Global Underground mix series, and, after a summer DJ'ing in Cyprus in 1999, returned to Manchester.

He subsequently held several residencies in Clubs & Bars around the City; Dry Bar, Joshua Brooks, South, the wonderful sweatbox where he had spent his twenties bouncing, Tangled and more recently Soundcontrol. These gigs gave Marcus the opportunity to DJ with many of his idols, such as Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff, Hybrid and Ashley Casselle.

30 years on, now living in Cairns, Australia, Marcus still hunts new sounds to share with anyone who will listen to this veteran of the Progressive House scene, creating mixes for a series called Just Add Sunshine, as well as producing guest mixes for other online platforms.

Miles Atmospheric, DJ, Live act, recording artist and head of Atmospheric Existence Recordings (AER) a UK based record label that serves as an expression conduit for him and others around the world.

So far he has released over 30 records on vinyl/digital, with 2 artist long player albums Aeration (2014) & Miles Away (2017) on his imprint AER, and Chicago imprint Finale Sessions (Balance), for Chez Damier & the late Mike Zucker. His music took on a new life when connecting with John Digweed, with John inspiring Miles with several successful EPs to follow. A creative outlet which continues to blossom, with his album ‘Ancestral Communication’ being released as part of John’s award winning Quattro DJ Compilation, with it’s own CD as part of the 5 CDs of his DJ mix. Feedback has been nothing short of awesome, with support from Louie Vega, Laurent Garnier, Vince Watson, to name but a few.

With a classically trained background since he was young, Miles is heavily influenced by music with an avant garde slant. Growing up with contemporary music styles, cinematic film scores as well as classic jazz, funk, electro funk, soul, Acid House and Detroit techno, all fed into the inspiration blender, giving his sound a heritage and deeper edge amongst his peers.

Remixes for The Orb, ReKab,  has been remixed by Josh Wink, Monotix, PVNV, while currently producing releases for Bedrock. As well as his DJ bookings, Miles has more recently began performing live shows with Charlie Tear as ‘Quadra’. The duo focus on the dancefloor with their energy infused show journeying through shades of groove based House and Techno with an ethereal edge.

Over 25 years, music has taken Miles around the world, with his own brand of hypnotic layered deep techno touching base at the headier, deeper end of the spectrum. From Paris to Shanghai to Ibiza, via residencies and guest spots at many of the top clubs, parties and festivals. Miles is currently a resident at acclaimed Freerotation festival in Wales and former residencies at Beach Beach Boutique – Brighton & Turnmills London.

He also has a monthly radio show on Brighton’s 1BTN FM, 3rd Tuesday every month 18:00hrs- 20:00hrs, and previous shows on Ministry of Sound radio and London’s House FM.

The Exclusive Series - Episode 32 - Miles Atmospheric

Lucas Ariel Gómez es un DJ y productor argentino nacido en
zona sur (Lomas de Zamora Provincia de Buenos Aires). Su
entusiasmo por la música nace a corta edad escuchando
música con sus tíos desde rock nacional y rock internacional,
su pasión por la música electrónica comienza a aflorar a sus 12
años de edad cuando le regalaron un disco compilado de
Hernan Cattaneo (clubland). Desde ese momento quiso
inculcarse de lleno como DJ, su primera mezcladora se la
obsequiaron a sus 15 años fue entonces que exploró varios
estilos hasta llegar actualmente a su género favorito que es al
progressive house variando con deep house, melodic house
& techno. Sus influencias musicales van desde Pink Floyd,
The Doors, Jimmy Hendrix, en cuanto a lo nacional sus
influencias fueron Seru Giran, Pescado Rabioso, Spinnetta.
En el 2010 estuvo como Dj residente en Deeper Bar (Banfield)
en ciclo de música electrónica los días viernes y en distintos
bares de la zona . También tuvo participaciones radiales como
Radio Berlin (radio online) , la Rocka FM (Resistencia, Chaco) y
Under Blue Radio.
en el año 2020 se enfocó en estudiar y aprender producción
musical en Ableton Live desde ese año y hasta la actualidad
está focalizándose en producir sus propios tracks el cual se
puede escuchar en la plataforma soundcloud.
A Principio del año 2022 firmó contrato con el sello
discográfico Belga Future Avenue donde tiene editado su
track "KARMA" en el
compilado "Spring Samples 2022" junto con dos remixes los
cuales se puede escuchar en todas las plataformas.
En 2023 expandió sus tracks en los sellos 3rd Avenue y Ah
Digital.
En Mayo del 2023 es Label Manager junto con Madloch del
sello South America Avenue. Sello focalizado en artistas de
sudamerica.
Y tambien es “Executive Assistant” en Sound Avenue Label
Group.
Su música la pueden encontrar en plataforma de stream como
Spotify, Youtube Music, Apple Music. Souncloud, Beatpor y
