Hello Everyone! It's Wednesday, time to strap yourselves in for another Exclusive PFG Progcast. The afterburners are lit, set your phasers to FUN... ready for another blast around Planet Prog!

This week were headed for love in London! Home to a multi talented heroine of house music, our act today has made music her life and passion. Singer/Songwriter, Producer, Performing Arts and DJ! We are delighted to have secured her services, give it up for Ann LoV

Ann LoV is a London based techno producer DJ and singer. Her primary focus are poignant melodies as demonstrated in her track selection, and forthcoming productions. Ann has a strong background in vocals and has released under the names 'Ann Browne' & 'Ann - Jattu' on Synchronized Music, DP-6 Records and Tall House Digital. 

Ann developed a passion and deep love for music early on in life. At the age of 9 she began to write her own songs and learnt to craft harmonies by experimenting with recording her voice using tape recorders and layering her vocals to see how they’d sound. In 1999 Ann decided to take a deeper dive into music and went on to study performing arts, during which time she spent much of her evenings in the music block learning production and writing her EP — a collection of Pop, R&B, and Ambient music. Off the back of her creations, she took part in a number of local festivals and showcases and later joined a Hip Hop collective where she continued to develop her vocals and song writing skills. Then in 2001 she had her first release on a gospel record label, which led to her joining a band where she continued to tour nationally and internationally as well as provide vocals for studio and live sessions.

It was in 2009 that her musical career pivoted towards electronic music, and at that point she began reaching out to music producers in the genre. This led to her creating a vocal sample pack with Lee Howe, house releases with Jake Cusack and Paul Parsons, EDM with K-System, and trance releases with Beatsole and Emrah Barut.

In a bid to further immerse herself in the electronic music world she had grown so fond of, she began to form connections with music lovers, organised club nights with UK Trance Society, managed a number of meetups, and attended myriad music events.

By 2016 Ann had started to miss the live element of music and wanted to perform electronic music live which led to the birth of “Anencee". Performing live once again and delving back into the world of music creation inspired her to make the decision to return to music production as a solo artist, it was then that she added the art of DJing to her repertoire. 
 
In 2019 Ann secured a DJ residency at the illustrious Saturo Sounds Radio, she shortly after appeared as a guest on Christian Monique's  'Seventeen' show [Frisky Radio] and also Erich Von Kollar's show 'Relations' [Proton Radio)] under her former name 'With LoV'. 
 
In December 2020 'Paradox' was released on Saturo Sounds - this was her first international solo release as a producer.  
 
Passionate about fairness for music creators, she continues to develop her knowledge in the realm of music business with a view to set up her own label, release music and perform her productions live - this is her motivation, her dream, her drive, her focus. ENJOY THE MIX!

PFG The Progcast - Episode 64 - Ann LoV

Hello everyone and welcome onboard our Exclusive Weekly Progcast, delivering only the tastiest cuts and finest fillets from around the world of Planet Prog!

Today our journeys see us head north and over the border, back to Scotland. Martin Sloan AKA (The Big Easy) is one of AATM founding members & also one of the longest serving DJ’s on this ever growing station. You can catch him playing marathon 10 hour shows most weekends alongside the cream of Scotlands DJ talent. Although only DJ'ing for a couple of years, Martin's rise has taken his (and anyone whose heard him play)breath away. This summer see's him make his debut for the well known MITA (Music Is The Answer)where he'll be putting those skills acquired through listening to Pappa, Sasha and Warren, to good use.

 At MITA,  he's scheduled to DJ along side the world renowned Guy J, Guy Mantzur and DJ Ruby no less. As well as that this year see’s gigs in Amsterdam, Ibiza and more in his beloved Scotland. Hello Everyone, time for another transatlantic trip for your senses. Hop aboard for another Exclusive PFG Progcast, our weekly trip around Planet Prog!

We are half way round the world in no time at all, making a much needed return to India. So impressed were we on our previous adventures, PFG are back for more, in the first of two trips to this beautiful continent.

Weird Sounding Dude is a Bangalore based music producer/DJ. He has always enjoyed a place in the underground dance music culture. His trademark chuggy grooves and squelchy rhythms are sure to satisfy his audience but there are always a few surprises along the way.

As it happens with a lot of artists, only DJ’ing wasn’t enough for his musical expedition, so he embarked on a journey to prove his worth as a self-taught producer. Drawing his influences from the likes of James Holden, Extrawelt, Nathan Flake, and Worakls. Being a regular on the charts of Beatport, his music has gained continuous support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Cid Inc., Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Guy J, Nick Muir, and many more.

He has already made a mark in the underground circuit with releases on Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Kindisch, Plattenbank, Perspectives Digital, onedotsixtwo, Juicebox Music, Eat My Hat Music, Balkan Connection, 3rd Avenue, Tarnished Tracks, If You Wait Music, Strangers Beats, Strange Town Recordings, Stripped Recordings among many others. Well-known blogs Progressive Astronaut, Change Underground, Underground Tel-Aviv, When We Dip, Nie Wieder Schlafen, Melodic Deep Bespoke Music, Husa Sounds have shown regular interest in his tracks.

He has also made a mark on the DJ circuit by performing at music festivals like Sunburn, R.E.S.E.T., La Foresta (Sri Lanka), Ctrl Alt Dance, Krank, Locals District. 
He’s had the privilege to perform alongside the likes of Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger, Stan Kolev, Jimpster, Vaal, Dauwd, BOg, Ziger, Navar, Kastis Torrau. He was also nominated under the Techno category for MyFav Awards (2014-15).

It’s safe to say that this “Dude” in particular isn’t just another kid on the block. His voyage has slowly started to take shape with no intention of slowing down.

PFG The Progcast - Episode 66 - Weird Sounding Dude

Hello Everyone, its time for another Exclusive PFG Progcast! Join us on our journeys around Planet Prog, searching for serious sonic sounds!

We take a trip over the Laccadive Sea today, as we head south and back to Colombo in Sri Lanka. On our last visit we were treated to a gem of a mix, and this week's return is no different. Pioneering a new wave of Underground DJ's and Artists, PFG are proud to present Shanil Alox!

Born in Colombo, Shanil Alox’s musical journey began at a very young age. His interest in music and production prompted him to learn deeper and find new genres, which resulted in the birth of his career as a young producer and DJ.
His talent and enthusiasm towards music soon began mesmerising crowds, where he gained popularity with his energetic performances across the island at many clubs, festivals and parties. His modern techniques in music inspired immense motivation in people to connect to music, aiming to take them on an emotional journey spreading positive energy throughout the community.

It was in the year 2014 that Shanil began his profession in music production,  since then he has progressively improved in music production through exploration of knowledge and mastering latest technology. His music is well known to captivate listeners who attend his performances.

He has also played gigs alongside George Privatti, Luigi Rocca, Matt Sassari, Kastis Torrau and Matan Caspi, and has collaborated and performed with renowned organisations around the island.

Shanil is a self-motivated, professional musician who endures to attempt in order to keep growing as a dynamic artist, while simultaneously expending great efforts to develop a unique style of Sri Lankan electronic music platform by incorporating tradition and his creativity. He intends to spread positive energy, peace and calmness to admirers of various genres of music.

He is one of the biggest exponents of the Progressive House music scene in his homeland, and it is without doubt a massive honour for us to have him aboard. Ladies & Gents... Alex Efe!

The global electronic scene has generated a generation of Artists with identity, Alex Efe is in that category. He is a DJ/Producer in constant growth and always consolidating his recognition. His musical influences within Rock, Synth Pop & Wave have led him to create a characteristic sound, in addition to transmitting this sound in every session he plays. Its his experience and musical knowledge which the dance floor also appreciates. PFG - The Progcast - Episode 68 - Alex Efe

Welcome everyone to the PFG Progcast, our weekly excursion around the world of underground beats and electronic mastery...

We're onto OUR second destination across the American continents and our FIRST ever visit to Mexico! A trip here promises magic, folklore, history and flavour, and our DJ today not only ticks ALL those boxes, but tops the lists of ALL the DJs on them. Having known him for a while, I can tell you that on a personal level this is a HUGE addition. As for the group I can't wait for you all to hear what this acclaimed, world class DJ can do. Mexico’s most respected DJ Tini Tun has crossed the frontiers and been acknowledged in America, Europe and Asia for his distinguishable talent as a Producer/DJ. He achieved a residency at Twilo NYC, one of the most prestigious electronic clubs in the world,  pleasing crowds with his flawless DJing sets. John Digweed presented him as the FIRST Mexican DJ to appear on his radio show Kiss FM. In 2013 and 2019 he was invited to appear on the famous radio show Transitions, by John, which turned him into a true international DJ. Tini Tun is now asked to play around the world regularly, as his career record and impact on the international audience is now firmly established. The U.K, USA, Russia, Canada, Switzerland and South Korea are amongst the places who've felt the TiNi VIBE!

After becoming a member of the prestigious Balance Record Pool back in 1997, he played in several festivals and clubs across the US and Mexico. The Mardi Gras Festival in New Orleans, San Francisco(1015), New York(Twilo), Chicago(Crobar), Los Angeles(Giant) and The ACA World Sound Fest 2000 in Acapulco.
He's shared stage with DJ's like Sasha & John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Chris Fortier, Deep Dish, Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath.
He has released several tracks on notable labels like, Global Underground (Nick Warren’s Shanghai), Fade Records, Stripped Digital, Automatic Records UK, Looq, Sounds Of Earth, AlterImage Recordings, Mindwarp Records, Endemic Digital and his own record label We Are Here Music coming with excellent support from the artists he has graced the World's stages with. 

He also has AN ONLINE SHOW called Noisy Transmissions which is presented via Mixcloud, and in 2018 was awarded the prestigious "DJ Legend" Title at the DJ World Music Conference! ENJOY THIS LIVE SET!

PFG The Progcast - Episode 70 - Eli Spiral

Hello everyone, and welcome to PFG! Time to fold back those tables and stow those drinks safely as we embark for another Prog-House hot spot.... This is the PFG Progcast!!

We have jumped the Atlantic today, and safely landed in another brand new destination on our travels. Belgium may not at first appear to be somewhere synonymous with our scene, until you meet our selector that is! Our DJ today has nearly 40 years experience under his belt, here to show you why... is Marc Denuit!

Starting in 1981 Marc(GoldFinger)was spotted by club bosses airing radio shows, and his career began spinning New Wave and New Beat, but his main influences come from New Wave and Acid House in the 1980's.
His first residency spinning this exciting sound was at the La Forge and Calypso Clubs in Belgium for 5 years. This was the springboard onto the legendary Mackenzie Label & Mackenzie/Heaven Club. Incredibly he held a residency for 14 years here next to Pat Mackenzie and Jean-Pierre Fasseau. He rubbed elbows with Eric Powa B, Phi Phi, Franky Jones, Kevin Jee, Marko la Rocca, Yuri, Ghost, Top Laurent, Franky Jones, Frank Zolex and more.

Soon after he took a residency for 6 years at the Star Rock Café in Tournai.. GoldFinger also guested at all the major club/nights in his home country, at Scaramouche, The Club, HyQ, Cabrio, Boccatelli, Jaguaris, Mana Kea, Balmoral, Holy Ghost, Catacombs, Casmates of Mons, Palladium, Bush, Escape, Pulse Factory, Fuse(Mad Club)to name but a few! 
Between 2003-2017 he held a residency or was a regular guest at no fewer than 6 top class clubs in his country, until the time he returned to progressive house once more under his real name. Since then, he's released on Massive Harmony, 3rd Avenue, Faraway Scope and many more. Since 2019 Marc is the programming Manager for XBeatRadio, a 24 hour station which covers all the bases of our scene with elite level DJs from all over the world!

PFG The Progcast - Episode 71 - Marc Denuit

Having been DJing for over 15 years now, C-lyn's passion for progressive electronic music has gone nowhere but up. 

It all started at a Philadelphia area warehouse rave back when she was a teenager.  But her passion really exploded when she finally heard the legends themselves, Sasha and Digweed, at the famous NYC club Twilo. A short while after it was her music and DJ friends encouraged her to try a little DJing herself, as it was obvious to them that music was part of her.   

C-Lyn has since established herself by being invited to be a guest on Frisky Radio multiple times, has had a 3 year long residency on the former Progressive Beats Radio and now holds a residency every 3rd Saturday of the month on Subcode Radio.  

C-Lyn's style is a combination of deep and dark tech driven prog which always promises to take you on a musical journey you won't be quick to forget.

Today see's us revisit possibly our favourite spot on the map, Argentina! A go to destination for clubbers and the world best DJs, our act today is another hot talent off the seemingly endless flow from La Plata BA. As the world re-opens we're sure you will love what you hear from this man,  and we're sure you are gonna want more too... Give it up for Franco Tejedor!!

Franco was born in Patagonia, and originally found the love for music in the techno pop of the 80s, and those early house music records. As a teenager he started to dabble in the music scene as a music programmer for radio shows, then took on a growing role as a DJ at parties. These early moves saw him gain a weekly residency at his hometown club.

In the year 2000 he moved to the city of Buenos Aires to purify and discover the sound that really represents him, Progressive House! And the way he finds to achieve this, is through his music production. His productions have gained high acclaim far and wide across the progressive house spectrum releasing records on respected labels. 
Franco has received feedback for his music from prestigious DJs and producers around the world. His productions are characterised by subtle, harmonic sounds, anchored by a rich percussive base and a deep bassline.
He currently produces the following podcasts: A weekly one called WEEKEND SESSIONS on Sono Stream Radio, broadcast every Saturday at midnight (Argentina)(www.sonopoprock.com.ar) and two monthly ones called Progressive Heaven on GammaWave Radio(UK)broadcasted the second Saturday of every month at 8pm (UK)(www.gammawave.club)and Virtual Gravity on Quantum Radio FM (London)the second Monday of every month at 8pm(UK)(www.quantumradiofm.com)
