The Club Is A Ritual

Please welcome the first episode of the "Treadwheel" mix series.

My goal with "Treadwheel" - as an emblematic thing - comes from my aptitude of turning in on myself, since I'm a quite introverted person and having an extremely tiring daily work doesn't really help on that. Not to mention, this is absolutely incompatible with today's trends of music business, so I had to find a way forcing myself to stay active and relevant. I cracked my brain a lot with it and realised: what's a better solution than being inspired by other musicians in a regular fashion?
I already had an ongoing series called "Retrotech" in the past and after closing that childhood story with five episodes, I improved the concept into the "Treadwheel" mix series. I know there are already sheetloads of podcasts and stuff out on the market, so with this series, I'm trying to differentiate myself from all that messy mass a little bit. I want to present you loads of my current favorites as well, but always premiering upcoming stuff and bootlegs by myself, while being not afraid winking on the past with dozens of timeless classics, keeping a highlighted focus on my vinyl collection.

With this first mix, I want to give you a big dozen of motivation - not in the quackery sense - for this year. Originally, it was intended to be a NYE mix, but my old computer laid down in the grave, so I couldn't post it in time. After my new setup was completed, I decided to re-record it with a differently arranged, but much better tracklist - fly in the ointment, that's the way to put.
I featured some memorable bangers from last year, two tracks from the new "Beauties & Hoes" EP, a tool from my "Orange Fog" EP and an exclusive track, dedicated to Jeremy Fragrance.
