Lotus Parable is proud to announce the upcoming release of ‘Va. Dawn’ - a compilation album produced in solidarity with the brave people - and especially women - of Iran, who are currently fighting for their freedom everyday. The album features tracks created exclusively for the project by 7 female producers, and inspired by their feelings toward the situation in Iran. The result is an emotive journey between ambient beats and hypnotic techno. The album will be released on 22 February 2023 on the record label’s bandcamp page lotusparable.bandcamp.com and proceeds will go towards helping children across Iran. There is a Buddhist term for the word "Koquukai (虚空界)".
It means the world of "Shinnyo (真如)", which is the essential world that encompasses and embraces everything, without colour and without form. Everything is in the space of nothingness.

Monochrome presents, 𝖆𝖚𝖙𝖔𝖒𝖓𝖊 𝖑𝓥 : Cobahn. 

This autumn, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno and Drum & Bass.

Artist biography :
Cobahn is a Korean-born DJ now based in Amsterdam. She began her musical journey as part of Seoul's deep spiritual techno scene, regularly performing at Vurt and various parties in the city.
Since moving to Amsterdam, Cobahn has continued to explore and expand her musical horizons, drawing inspiration from both Eastern philosophy and the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. Her music is a fusion of deep and experimental styles, which she blends together to create an authentic and immersive soundscape.
With a focus on all kinds of deep music filled with organic, hypnotic, and avant-garde touches, Cobahn seeks to guide listeners into a meditative and ritualistic state of mind. Her unique sound has been described as a journey through the depths of the soul, where each track is a carefully crafted exploration of sound and emotion.
As a rising talent in the techno scene, Cobahn's hypnotic sets have already caught the attention of the scene. With her deeply spiritual approach to music, she is set to become a significant force in the deep techno community.

To the French, do we look, for today's premiere as label founder Johan Bonnefoy returns to his own imprint Accents Records with an upcoming split EP. Accompanied by a fresh faced producer, Inerit, the two provide 7 tracks total to round out the solid release.

Midnight Sun is a decidedly infectious affair, the earworm-like melody starts immediately, flanked by warm sounding pads. As the track builds and the off kilter percussion expertly added, the bass line wobbles in and takes the center stage as the track ignites into dance mode. Evoking a need to move and nod your head along to the ups and downs of the bouncing chords.

ACCENTAPE008 and in turn Midnight Sun, will be released out into the world on the 13th of December.

Kyntral emerged from the Buenos Aires electronic scene at the beginning of 2019 as co-founder of his own imprint, Danza Nativa. His first releases are coming from this platform, as well in the Italian label Natch Records. Currently he is developing as DJ and producer, with both facets being orientated to the deep techno genre. As a sound designer, he is characterised by psychedelic sounds, shimmering pads and tribal percussions, making clear his view on hypnotic music. His DJ sessions all have a similar concept and stand out for being gradually built with slow transitions and clever track selection.
His release starts with ‘Curación', which has a tribal connotation where the use of percussions and sounds with random patterns generates a hypnotic atmosphere. 'Amuleto' takes the leading role of the album and shows us a more solid groove, accompanied by an exotic and psychedelic synthesizer. 'Lican Ray' tells a different story, where abstraction takes a key factor generating a mental impact on the listener. The EP ends with 'Reflejo', an ambient track full of emotions and memories of a sunrise in Buenos Aires.
