Triforce are a live electronic dark techno / progressive psytrance project consisting of producers Charlotte Lohmann & Ryan Smith.

Creating music together and experimenting with a variety of genres for 12 years has lead them to form a rich musical bond, resulting in a unique sound that sits between hard/dark techno and psytrance. 

Deep heaving bass lines combined with rich melody and beautifully orchestrated motifs define their performances played on live synths and an Ableton push.

Triforce signed to Zenon Records in May 2017 and have released 2 EP's and an album with the label. "Arise" being their most recent release which came out September 2023. 

Triforce have travelled across the globe to spread their unique sound playing festivals and clubs such as Boom Festival, Ozora Festival, Modem Festival, Sisyphos, Freqs Of Nature, About Blank, Shankra Festial,  Lost Theory, Rainbow Serpent, S.U.N. I'm an electronic musician and along with Suzybee run the Mindtours Record label and organise the Freerotation Electronic Music Festival.
All the music on here is recorded live on analogue hardware, and from 2009 all my music is jammed live on a modular synthesizer.

I have been doing this for 19 years now. I still love it. I still get inspired. I will do this forever. I coined the term "Lightpsy" to describe my "Grid-Harp" track a bunch of years ago. Since then it seems to have caught on. I still think it works to describe what I do Psy-music-wise.

Downtown Party Network might once have been a short yet magical period of New York City nightlife. Today the name stands for music from another side of the world - Lithuania. An entity combined of experiences, influences, events, trips, and adventures in music that have come together during the last 20 years.

Downtown Party Network’s music has been signed by german Get Physical Music and Dirt Crew Recordings, british Futureboogie and Anjunadeep, belgian Eskimo Recordings and australian Future Classic to name a few. The releases have been favorited by DJ Harvey, Dixon, Laurent Garnier, Groove Armada, Tensnake, Ame, Jamie Jones, Sasha.

‘Days Like These’ by Downtown Party Network released on legendary Eskimo Recordings back in 2009 became a dancefloor destroyer, hitting record shops’ charts and being played by countless amount of djs all around the world.

‘Space Me Out’, released in October 2013 by Silence Music, became one of the most charted tracks on Resident Advisor in 2013. Mario Basanov, Hannes Fischer and Musk accompanied the original track with brilliant remixes. Each of them received a significant amount of attention, as well as a melodramatic music video that was filmed in spooky Lithuanian nature. A year later, a new version of ‘Space Me Out’ was revamped and presented exclusively on ‘Deep House Amsterdam’ just before Amsterdam Dance Event and a brand new remix of the worldwide hit, crafted by the legendary producer Ewan Pearson. 

In the last years DPN had his shows in New York, San Fransisco, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Sydney, Shanghai, Singapore, Dubai, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Bangkok, Seoul, Mexico City, Jakarta, London, Berlin, Bali,  Bucharest, Ho Chi Minh, etc.

Tronic is one of the most established and longest-running techno labels in the world. Founded in 1994 by Christian Smith while he was attending University, the label now has over 430 releases under its belt. Christian and his team have paved the way for many artists including ANNA, Dosem, Wehbba, and more recently Drunken Kong. Tronic's main philosophy is simple: nonpurist, honest, house and techno. The label has released countless of artist albums and is regularly supported by the top players in the industry. Some outstanding releases have been Christian Smith's remixes of Carl Craig's seminal 'At Les" song, which has become one of the biggest vinyl sales releases of the past decade. Other notable releases and remixes came from Laurent Garnier, and Underworld. The weekly Tronic Radio show is being syndicated on over 120 stations worldwide and has had over 500 shows. With regards to events, Tronic has had a successful 15-week season in Ibiza at the 3000-capacity Eden super club, while also hosting arenas at established festivals, and doing over 100+ club events worldwide from Tokyo to London, Sao Paulo, and Detroit.

What can you say about an artist who grew up in the sheltered village of Bergisch Gladbach, a suburb of Cologne, and who has enjoyed a classical music education since his childhood? Who next to his training on the piano, trombone and alphorn has also won numerous prizes on "Jugend musiziert", operated for years as a choirmaster and also worked with various church choirs?

These are the exact types of boys who are drawn to the untamed and juicy techno beats that can push a sound system to it's limits. This is also what our Roland decided to do. He has been schooling his ear for techno since he is thirteen years old and became to be a enthusiastic supporter of the Detroit school from an early age. He started to worship artists such as Charles Siegling, Jeff Mills, Petar Dundov and Secret Cinema. Very soon, he came to own analogue synthesisers and music software and tried himself as a producer. So far so good.

But in order to be a good techno producer, one needs a good label and a good mentor. After a confirming nod from Riley, his first release happened in February 2008 on Trapez ltd. Since then Roland has proven himself as a distinctive composer that produces with analogue instruments and rarely employs the usage of various music programmes. His method of producing has proven it's worth at the latest since the big successes of remixes from Minilogue's "Space", Lucio Aquilinas "Disco Bus" or Extrawelt's "Im Garten von Eben".

Roland's music is rhythm on a high level. He does not want to function as a ambassador and thus convey a message. For him, techno is functional. He is fascinated when the crowd can delve into the atmosphere of his music and this can be anything - from the highly ordered structures of total minimalism right up to the wild sample and effect chaos of general bass type sequential harmonies and total atonality. He enjoys the freedom of being able to move within this musical freedom.
