EPM.189 comes from Fossil Archive boss, R.M.K. Hailing from London, R.M.K is an exciting new project by Fossil Archive label head Roberto. It represents a faster and more intense take on his unique brand of Techno. He utilises his knowledge and past experiences, which include regularly playing at Berghain and Tresor in Berlin, as well as fabric in London, to develop his individual sound. R.M.K has distilled that experience into this 2-hr set, recorded directly from his residency at The Glove That Fits, London for the EPM series. Featuring Axel Karakasis, NØRBAK, Glaskin, Juri Heidemann, Volster, James Ruskin, Stephen Brown, Franco Rossi plus a brace of unreleased tracks from Vinicius Honorio & R.M.K himself we get a flawless mix of tough yet hypnotic swinging grooves.

During his 20+ year career in music, Roberto has formed friendships and worked in partnership with other respected artists such as Trevino (Marcus In-talex), Jamie Anderson, Robert Owens, Goldie and Nastia. Although the focus is always on the very heart of the most raucous of raves, R.M.K never shies away from groove and funk. This is conveyed in a Live Show that utilises classic hardware from the golden age of UK Rave and now here on this new mix for the EPM series.

Co-founder of Manchester’s infamous Rhythm Theory parties, A.Morgan lands his inaugural mix for RYC, showcasing both the breadth of his style and clinicality of his mixing skillset. Fresh off the release of his five-tracker, ‘Hyper Tension’, Morgan onboards the series with two hours of no-nonsense floor-destroying wares, stripped-down 4x4 aerobatics and epic-sized buildups. Muscular and mind-expanding, brace yourself for a set at the junction of proper hi-tech grit and heavily verbed-out grooves, merging the finest of classic 909-fuelled pound with atmospheric abandon and tape-delayed psychedelia. Blast this one out loud, all windows opened and woofers set to eleven.

Desirée Falessi is a DJ and producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina, now based in Berlin. In 2024 she launched her own label, Influencia Records, debuting with Oscuro Femenino. Her sets blend vinyl and digital, exploring niche sounds and shifting textures. With a deep, forward‑thinking approach, she creates immersive dance floor experiences that move beyond genre boundaries.

Recorded late at night, this set chases a specific tension and mood. It’s darker and more patient than her usual style, leaning into space and texture over outright impact.

Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @materielle_music B2B @marienyx for our 122nd episode of Amplify Series.

Materielle is a Los Angeles-based techno artist whose deep, dub-driven sound draws heavily
from the rhythmic syncopations and atmospheric textures of 90s Detroit techno. Fusing
elements of heavy, hypnotic basslines with intricate patterns and immersive reverb, Materielle’s
music taps into the raw energy and experimental edge of underground techno, with an
emphasis on subtle detail and emotional depth.

A self-taught producer with a decade-long career in music technology, Materielle has cultivated
a distinctive sonic palette shaped by the teachings of pioneering artists like Rødhåd, Ben Klock,
Claudio PRC, and Richie Hawtin. The project’s name, Materielle, is inspired by the delicate art
of weaving—an analogy for the artist's approach to music, where sound is crafted through
layers and textures, much like fabrics are woven together to create something new.

Since 2019, Materielle has honed her craft as a DJ, transitioning seamlessly into production with her track singles, Satin and Organza on Delusional Records and the release of her debut EP, Fabrique on Northern Parallels. The EP, which features the tracks Nylon and Neoprene, with
remixes from Mike Derer and Raytek, has garnered attention for its unique blend of hypnotic
grooves and emotionally charged atmospherics. Materielle’s recent release, a remix of Orly
Gal’s track, The Man Without a Face, was chosen by Beatport for their November 2024 Techno
Shortlist (peak/driving), further solidifying her growing presence in the techno scene. In early
2025, she contributed the track Kevlar to the Synthetik Minds VA Compilation, a benefit release
supporting Los Angeles fire relief efforts. The compilation features a lineup of major artists from across the global techno scene, underscoring Materielle’s commitment to both artistic
collaboration and community impact. Fall of 2025 she releases her next single “Chiffon” on the
forthcoming Split Checks Records VA Compilation.

Marie Nyx is a Los Angeles–based DJ, producer, and label head whose sound bridges electro, techno, and experimental electronica with roots in post-punk, new wave, and darkwave. She has brought her infectious, high-energy style to stages at HARD Summer, CRSSD Festival, Insomniac events, and prominent underground institutions like The Lot Radio. With releases on Delusional Records, Boysnoize Records, Obskur Music, Synthetik Sounds, Hidden Symbols, and Dark Heaven, Marie continues to push boundaries as both an artist and tastemaker. In 2025, she founded Synr, a label dedicated to forward-thinking electro, techno, and experimental sounds, solidifying her place as a driving force in the underground electronic scene.
