Initial Code offers an hybrid musical approach that stands out in a world of uniform four the floor techno. Melding ambient, complexe atmospheres, intricate rythms and an industrial sonic universe. Each of his dj sets represent a carefully narrated story of emotions based on an unique code, inspired of the dna.

In the beginning was Hedastrike

Initiate concept is born from a passion for boundary pushing electronic music. We want to move away from trends of instant gratification to explore club music and its intersections with other forms of musical expression.
 
The sound we wish to share with you makes us dance, pause, reflect and meditate. It takes us away and transports us.
 
What drives us is the exploration of fine tuned sounds that come together to create holistic pieces of music, inducing various states of consciousness.
 
Initiate provides a wholesome space for self-reflection, for bonding with others and for musical discoveries that will challenge your ears and dance moves alike!

Wolken (aka Edward Molton) has been dj'ing for a while. He started playing Nu Skool breaks as Edward Molton on the local student radio. he played his dark breaks in Belgium, Spain, Bulgaria, Hungary,... He founded the first breaks label in Belgium, Nu-Freakz Records. 

A few year later he discovered techno and together with Psytox he co-founded Coincidence Records, one of Belgium's leading techno labels with releases by Rebecca, Developer, Jeroen Search, Charlotte De Witte,... 

In 2018 it was time to start a new label with the focus on the deeper side of techno. Wolken Records was born. Not only his own tracks will be released on Wolken, also new and upcoming techno talents will release on Wolken Records. 

As Wolken he plays a mixture of deep, hypnotic and atmospheric techno with an acidic twist. 

Wolken shared already the decks with Tama Sumo, Steffi, Ken Ishii, Tom Dazing, Marco Bailey, Technasia, Tom Hades,... on festivals and clubs like Tomorrowland, Fuse, The Zoo,...  

Wolken is also the man behind the monthly Curated by Wolken radioshow on Fnoob Techno radio.
